Dene House Guest House

Spacious and clean room. Good cooked breakfast. Fan in room the which was necessary due to the heatwave.

Staff were efficient and friendly but could have interacted more with the customers, including introducing themselves on first meeting and breakfast time. We had a superior room with plenty of room in the bedroom area which had two chairs and a table in the middle, but the TV was behind and to the right so it was difficult to see the TV whilst sitting on the chairs. It would be beneficial to move the TV to the opposite corner and this would allow it to be visible from either the chairs or the bed.

The bathroom was small and had some challenges due to been on the top floor with the building eaves.

Close proximity to the centre while still being in a quiet street. Staff and facilities are great.

Clean and welcoming. Room was large and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and huge! Breakfast was spot on, one of the best we have had in anywhere.

It was a short walk from the main road, but up a hill.
