Excellent Location only a few minutes walk in to Bowness ,plenty of bars/restaurants to enjoy. Easy to travel to Ambleside and Grasmere via the boats on lake Windermere and bus travel. The owners where really nice and friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

We liked the location which was less than a 5min walk into the town and the lake, also private parking. Our room was very nice and the breakfast was lovely.We would definitely recommend this guest house.

It was a lovely house in a very good location with easy walking access to the town of Bowness . Our room was very spacious, warm and comfortable. 2 armchairs made the seating very comfortable. Our hosts had worked very hard to make our stay memorable. The dining room was very welcoming and the breakfast satisfying and pleasant.

Everything was very good. Perhaps the alternatives to a full English breakfast could have been a bit fuller.
