DoubleTree by Hilton Wuxi

Good hotel with excellent breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No hotel bar found though a small market at ground floor provides basic articles. In cose proximity some small restaurants which are looking outdated.

My stay was comfortable and as I expected from past visits. The room was clean and overall I had a pleasant experience. The only minor issues I experienced that you may wish to consider upgrading for the comfort of others is, first, I was unable to adjust the climate control in the room. It was stuck on 21.5 and the up/down buttons were useless. It got cold in the room later in the evening. Second, the TV monitor seems to need adjusting. The program I viewed (CNN) was too large to fit properly on the monitor, so the left, right, and bottom parts were cut off and everything on-screen was bigger than normal. Aside from these issues, everything was excellent. The front desk team was friendly and helpful. I'm very satisfied with my latest visit there.

Dusty room: Not sure if the room is vacuumed or furniture wiped. I'm here for more than 6 weeks now and the the mini fridge louvers, chair legs and edges of floor carpet are full of dust. Poor breakfast service: breakfast often just partially ready at 6.30am, the official start time. The crew would serve themselves first before the guests.

Visited a friend in Wuxi. As a Hilton Hotel Group Member , Double Tree Wuxi was my first choice though the reviews online show hotel facilities are kind of old fashion🏨 Turns out I have made a excellent choice! The hotel upgraded my room to a Suite With very cute and delicious welcome snacks!!! All the staff are super nice,especially the Front office Manager Rita, she’s been extremely helpful during my entire stay !! My Former Employer wants my recommendation for a long-stay hotel in Wuxi, I’ll definitely name this one !

A Doubletree adapted to local China taste, except for the cookies and a comfortable bed. The rooms are clean, functional and offer adequate space. The non-smoking rooms are truly non-smoking which rarely happens in a local hotel. Internet worked well, except in the late evening when it was slow. The executive lounge is in need of a make over. The foods offered was not good at all. The staff is super nice. Good location for business.

The location is good for me as it’s very close to the airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful. My room is clean and got everything I need. Not quite like the breakfast though ( food quality and choices)
