Sweeney Hall Hotel

Thank you for a lovely stay. I was so impressed by the lovely building and surroundings. The staff are all amazing and l had excellent service. So many lovely thoughtful extra touches that made my stay extra special! I had a delicious dinner and breakfast and can’t wait to visit again.

As soon as I arrived I knew it was something special. Great setting, fantastic interior, everything about this place is amazing on a grand scale.

I stayed in room 8 not huge but a small double, as I was on my own it was ok. I found it strange that it had steps up to the very modern en-suite so if you have any mobility issues it’s not a great room. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a lovely setting and very oldy worldly which I loved.

One of the best hotel in UK where I was staying. Rooms very spacious and clean. Restaurant has very tasty food and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel for everybody.

What a lovely hotel, the setting is just wow 😯 the outside area is just amazing so many different areas, dinning pods, gin shacks, cosy drinking areas… lovely welcome on arrival, the our room was beautifully decorated with a very high bed but it was a small double. Only concern as a H&S issue is the wardrobe needs to be secured to the wall, it would be good in this Energy saving time that the lights in the corridor are on a sensor as the light shone through the door which is only an observation I like a dark room, not a criticism. Dinner was lovely with a really good value set menu, it was delicious we order a very nice Prosecco which fir a hotel was reasonably priced. Breakfast was lovely the first morning, hot and yummy… second morning not so great, must have been a different chef as not as good, had to chase around the downstairs area trying to get someone to bring the toast we ordered… Last mornings service did let the hotel down if not had experienced the breakfast services previously then would have given a lower score. Staff were young but very attentive and friendly. Thank you The Sweeney for a lovely experience

Beautiful and tastefully decorated hotel with lovely, helpful staff. Bedroom very comfortable and breakfast delicious. Would book again.
