Friendly staff. Nice bar and restaurant. Easy parking. Top quality breakfast . Amazing setting.

The room and bathroom were a little on the small side .

Lovely atmosphere in the dining room and good breakfast. Fluffy towels and fresh bedding

Would have preferred more choice on the dinner menu for main course, although my wife was more than happy with her choice

Breakfasts were fantastic. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was small.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfy. It was inagood location for our daughter's wedding.

Die Mitarbeitenden sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich und bemüht Das angebotene Abendessen im Restaurant des Hotels und das Frühstück sind ausgezeichnet. Auf unserer nächsten Reise in den Süden Englands kommen wir sicher wieder hier her.

Our room was comfortable with lovely views over the moors in a quiet rustic location. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, with excellent cooking and pleasant service. Recommended.

We recently stayed at The Rock Inn as part of our mini moon, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Nestled in a stunning Dartmoor location, the inn offers the ideal blend of countryside charm, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after the excitement of our wedding. The food was simply incredible – every meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and easily some of the best food we’ve enjoyed. It was clear that great care and attention goes into every dish. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and personal touch made the last night of our mini moon feel even more memorable. Our room was cosy, comfortable, and immaculately presented, with an extremely comfortable bed that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. The whole pub has a beautiful atmosphere, stylish yet traditional, with plenty of character and a wonderfully homely feel. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our mini moon and would highly recommend The Rock Inn to anyone looking for fantastic food, outstanding hospitality, and a truly special stay in Dartmoor. We can’t wait to return.
