Quaint, friendly staff

I was here for one night for a funeral wake. It caters for this very well, and the buffet was extremely good. The room was very tired looking and the bathroom is in desperate need of attention. The shower is very poor. I booked breakfast and was expecting a full english the morning I left. Unfortunately it was cereal in a small box, and some toast. There was some fruit also and described as continental. I really dont think so. I am being kind when I say the experience was average.

Lovely friendly staff. The room was nice and clean, the hotel grounds were lovely with a big garden and plenty of seats.

Excellent efficient check in - good continental breakfast - clean room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast included £10 extra for a cooked breakfast seems excessive. Bedrooms although clean decor and furnishings very dated and tired looking.
