The swan is situated in a nice town

Desperately needs updating the metal bed was uncomfortable and you didn’t dare move as it made such a noise , bathroom needed the bath panel fixing wasn’t as clean as would have liked There were dirty clothing on the chair at the top of the stairs Just looked unloved and it could be such a lovely building if it had some major work done

The Swan is lovely building I have stayed at before as it is in a perfect position for my needs. The room was fine and bedroom was comfy. The lady who checked me in was very helpful and friendly

The person who was supposed to cook breakfast didn’t turn up so I was then running late and what I was offered was not very nice despite the efforts of the lady left to pick up the problem. Also the hairdryer was not in the place it was supposed to be which made me even later by the time one was found. I was called and apologised to but no refund for the breakfast was offered

Breakfast was superb and the location was perfect

Bathroom- needs to be updated . The shower was great but the bath was quite high to access the shower

Didn’t get a breakfast 2nd day didn’t start until 8.30 too late for me!

No staff when I arrived 1ish place completely deserted! Went down to the bar about 2ish still empty! Lady on the phone completely ignored me for 5 mins then told mepub didn’t open until 4.30? I thought residents could get a drink any time?maybe I’m wrong?

We stayed in room 1. The room was in need of modernisation. Bathroom the toilet did not flush, water did not drain away from the hand basin. There is so much mould around the shower that we didn’t even attempt to use it. The bed felt very damp. Bedside lamp plugged into a curled up extension lead which in such a old building could end in disaster. The breakfast was over cooked, no chef would serve a egg like that to anyone.

Breakfast and location were good

Seat on toilet non existent.room was very cold and damp.shower facilities inadequate.
