Cosmelenia Hotel Apartments

We stayed at Cosmelenia Hotel Apartments in August 2025 with all inclusive, and the experience was a disaster.We paid for all inclusive, but what we got was far below what anyone would reasonably expect – a misleading and disappointing hotel. The room amenities clearly listed air conditioning, with no mention anywhere that it required extra payment. Yet when we entered a room at 35°C, the receptionist smugly told us the AC could only be used for an additional fee. The bathroom didn’t even provide basic items like soap. Meals were poor and repetitive: breakfast was the same meagre selection every day, while lunch and dinner were only good if you happened to choose well. Vegetables were virtually nonexistent – when I asked for salad, I was given two lettuce leaves. After our complaint, management openly treated us with hostility, greeting other guests while deliberately ignoring us. The only positives were the clean pool and the very kind, helpful bartender, whose attitude was a stark contrast to the rude receptionist. Unfortunately, this is nowhere near enough to make up for the hotel’s miserable standards. This hotel is absolutely not recommended – anyone booking here should be prepared for disappointment

Staff were absolutely rude

Hotel was very basic, clean but very limited. Poor electric facilities. The key to the door had to be inserted to work all the electric so everytime you left and locked up the fridge would turn off, making it impossible to keep anything in the fridge cold. There was a light switch that keep shocking us everything we touched it. Very dated bathroom and towels supplied were torn and old. I found the staff weren’t overly helpful or friendly, didn’t really talk to us the whole week we stayed. The sofa beds were awful, I would have preferred to pay for an extra room than for any of us to sleep on those. Also, 4 out of 7 of us ended up with ringworm which I’m pretty sure came from either the bedding or the towels supplied. It’s a shame as location is perfect. Wouldn’t stay again.

The apartment was clean, the staff were lovely, however, air conditioning came at a cost of 8 euros a day, 80 euros for a week or 100 euros for 2 weeks. First time I have been in a hotel/apartment that charge for A/C. They also charge you if you want WiFi in your room but it's free if you are at the pool bar! You have to buy your own hand soap for the bathroom as none is provided for you. There were 2 plug sockets in the living area, both did not work. If we wanted to use the toaster, we had to unplug the fridge as the kettle plug wouldn't come out of the socket.😞

This is a wonderful place. Such friendly staff, very clean and no sun bed wars! We stayed 2 weeks and loved it. We were half bored and all food is cooked to order and fresh. Drinks are reasonable and the owner is such a lovely lady. To top it off they have a hotel dog who’s a cutie. Rooms are basic and comfortable and you pay for aircon which is the norm. It’s away from Ayia napa strip and quiet which is what we wanted. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you to the centre or Protaras for €2 adults and €1 for kids. This is a family hotel and won’t suit young lively groups which is something we were really happy about. Will definitely be returning again.

Genuinely have never stayed in such a horrifying place. The whole experience was NOTHING like advertised. Firstly, the front door lock was broken, meaning I couldn't leave the flat for an entire day until they fixed it. Next, the kitchen was so half-baked that I couldn't cook anything more than an egg, despite it being "sold" as a 1-bedroom apartment. The air con price was misleading, on Hotels they claim it's 7.50E "per stay" when it's in fact per night, leading me to foot an extra 50 euro bill. On top of that, the air con was ONLY IN ONE ROOM, so half the flat was unusable when it's hot. The bathroom was atrocious too. Firstly, there was little to no water pressure, so I struggled to shower. The towels were stained with brown marks. The taps were also mislabelled. Worst of all, in a flat suited for up to 4, the bathroom DIDN'T lock. The general condition of the property was shocking aswell: The wifi did not work The electrical plug sockets were clogged up - only had 2 usable ones There was no do not disturb sign - got woken up to cleaning staff multiple times. There were old gummy bears under my bed My blankets had holes in them. The communal pool table jammed twice and took my money. The worst part was the owner. She was unfriendly, hostile and patronising. She really tried to nickel and dime me, claiming I had a 300 euro fee to pay, which I had to dispute. The customer service was just horrible, she wouldn't even let myself and a friend split a bill. STAY AWAY!!

Apartments were basic but clean no tv in room no air-conditioning in living room only in bedroom which has to be paid for separate food great staff great helpfull

This was such a great place to stay! We were staying for 4 nights for a wedding nearby. The room was spotless, yes you had to pay for aircon but it was worth it and as we checked the website we knew about this ahead of time. We had a studio room so the air-con kept the whole room cool. The lady working there was so friendly and kind, in-fact all the staff were lovely! The pool area was great, pretty quiet, didn’t need to rush down in the mornings to put a towel on a bed. Busiest day was probably Thursday we were there and there were still plently of sunbeds. Food and menu was great, plently of options and love that it was cooked to order so it was nice and fresh everytime! Sure its not buffet, but three meals a day (starter and desert for dinner) is still plenty!! Portions where a good size! I liked there was no wifi in the rooms, made you be off your phone more (or can just buy data on your phone these days anyway) Hotel is in a great location, there was a bus stop literally outside to take you into Aiya Napa and was 5 min walk to the beaches and 15 to the port. Very cute dog and cats around as well! Great place and great value for money! Would recommend!!
