Cosmelenia Hotel Apartments

I’ve rated this 4 and not 5 but it was close. We decided on a last minute holiday and this came recommended. If you want to be bang in the middle of Ayia Napa it’s not it’s a taxi/bus ride. It’s a 10 minute walk to the lovely municipal beach with toilets and shower. 2 sunbeds and a brolly €5 per day. Just sit down and eventually they’ll come to you. The apartments are clean and simple and comfortable. Air con extra (we needed it) The grounds were lovely and clean, pool cleaned every night. Simple bar with good staff. All in all this is a hidden gem on this lovely island with nothing too much for the staff. I’d comeback anytime

Great hotel on the outskirts of Aiya Napa, clean, lovely rooms, great staff and the bus to Aiya Napa stops right outside the hotel at a cost of 2 euro to anywhere on the route. My only issues are paying for Air conditioning (70euro for 10days) erm...No! A lot of places I go Air con is free and you do need it in Aiya Napa. And the WiFi only magically reaches the bar and pool where you have to buy their drinks and cannot bring your own. I get the not bringing your own drinks bit, but I want to use the WiFi in my room on a night and I can't. Big No! I wouldn't have chosen this hotel if I'd known this before I booked.

I had lovely room- the hotel was extremely clean in all areas at all times. The bar staff, kitchen staff, cleaning staff and reception staff were very helpful, efficient, friendly and welcoming. There was a breakfast choices and a well stocked bar. The bus to Nissi beach and beyond ran every twenty minutes both ways and was only €2 per trip. There was a supermarket very close to the hotel and couple of restaurants within walking distance. The beach was a ten to fifteen minute walk away. Lovely quiet and sedate base to explore Cyprus. Thank you to all and will definitely return.

First of all, the first impression was good, the hotel was clean the staff seemed friendly at first. The room is a decent size, quite dated and could do with an update. You get very basic utensils in the room, a bottle opener is not included. The beds are okay but quite hard. Showering is not a great experience as it floods the whole bathroom (towels are rarely replaced). Please be aware that there is no entertainment in this hotel. Unfortunately one major downside of this hotel is how the staff get a bit rude if you bring your own drinks around the pool area. The drinks are much cheaper at the supermarket next door so of course you’d rather buy them there. It definitely put me off from buying anything from the bar at first. I would also like to add how the staff also constantly watch you like a hawk to make sure you are following the rules, you feel like you cannot relax and it’s a bit off putting. It almost felt like you were being pressured into purchasing from the hotel bar, which came across as a bit exploitative. Interestingly, the staff’s demeanor improved significantly once you did buy something from the bar, which left a bit of a bad taste. I would also like to add how there is no where to shower in the hotel if you have a late flight! The lady said it’s because of covid, which was 5 years ago… Please avoid this hotel if you don’t like dogs, the hotel dog always barks at men and chases them, and it did nip a lady’s hand whilst we was there. Location of the hotel is good, about 15 minutes walk to the nearest beach and just a bus ride away to the centre of ayia napa (only €2). The supermarket next door is great i definitely recommend, the staff in there are lovely. The breakfast in the hotel is good, you order off a menu and they cook to order. I would say that the sizes of the meals are good, and the food is actually okay for a 3* hotel, however the dinner does not have any drinks included. Overall, I would say that the hotel isn’t the best, I wouldn’t return to Cosmelenia and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone, there are plenty of nice hotels in the Ayia napa area. It’s more of a 2* hotel.

Lovely clean apartments but beware of the ALL INCLUSIVE - it’s not! You can have 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 Dinner, no water you have to pay! No snacks at all accept toast! Icecream is half a cheap choc ice and that’s it and they are hidden you have to ask! Menu is limited and different for ALL INCLUSIVE! No deserts! Had to pay! Meal times are strict 8-10am 12.30-2 and 7-9 for ALL INCLUSIVE! Had to pay for a Tuna Jacket potato as wasn’t on our ‘FREE’ menu and it was completely different and better because we paid! 3 cocktails only and pay the rest ! BEWARE…. ALL INCLUSIVE IS A CON and should not be sold!

I loved everything, the rooms were gorgeous and very clean. Everyone was so kind and i felt so welcome. i really recommend this place. The food was so so tasty, their pool was very clean, the place was very close to the beach. I loved lolas the dog.

Super friendly staff & perfect location for me, far enough away from central Agia Napa to have peace & quiet but an easy walk or quick bus journey to the action. Great super market literally seconds away, (The one further up the road, please avoid as the bloke is super rude & tries to cheat you by peeling off the prices of items whilst he's putting on till & then submitting a higher price, when you call him out in it & show him you can see he is trying to cheat you by getting the exact same items off the shelves again, he becomes aggressive & calls you a weirdo...) The apartment was spacious & spotlessly clean. housekeeping service every single day. The pool area was also spotless too. I only ate at the complex once as I was out most of the time but the meal I had was lovely, super fresh & a great portion. The cocktails were lovely too.. I saw several people eating there & everyone seemed very happy with their meals & said great things about the breakfasts. All the staff were really friendly & helpful, especially the lady who sadly I have forgotten her name but she always made me feel very welcome being a solo female & helped arrange trips out. I rarely go back to exactly the same place ( apartment wise) as I love to have different experiences but here I would & am already looking to go back again next year as it was the perfect base & made me feel so safe & confident that I can't wait to go back & explore more under my own steam instead of prearranged trips.. Nicosia and Cape Greko are a definite must go back to explore further & Larnaca itself.. Plus I need to spend some more time lounge around that pool & at the gorgeous local beaches which are plentiful.

You get what to paid for. The Apartments are basic but clean and well maintained. The staff are helpful and nice to talk to and not like some of the comments write by some customers.First time here and we leave on the 10th October and we already booked for next year, it's nice little germ away from Ayia Napa centre

What a great find! The rooms are basic but functional and could use a little TLC. The rooms and the communal areas are kept clean and well-maintained. However, if you want somewhere to use as a base and to sleep without the five-star service, then it's perfect. The staff is fantastic. They are polite, helpful, friendly, and very hardworking. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which has a reduced menu with time restrictions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, the food is cooked to order, there is no self-service buffet, and the quality of the food is exceptional. There is a large choice of food even for a reduced menu. I would recommend this place without any doubt. If I'm back in Ayia Napa, I will definitely book here again.

Yet another fabulous holiday with Cornelia and her crew ar the cosmelenia apart hotel. We have been there many times and hope for many more to come. They are the friendliest and most helpful who go above and beyond to make your holiday the best. Can't wait to see you all next year xxx
