Red Lion - B&B

Disappointed they were not serving cooked breakfast and surprised room was not cleaned daily. No reduction on rate but offered discount on future stay. Room would benefit from an update/TLC. Staff friendly and helpful so guess doing their best in current ridiculous situation.

The red lion in Lacock We love this pub the town in Lacock is beautiful we enjoyed staying at the red lion the rooms were lovely day with clean they were spacious the bathroom was lovely no complaints whatsoever and for the price we paid it was very very reasonable The staff were very friendly we had dinner downstairs and it was fabulous the food was excellent I would definitely stay here again very reasonably priced

Lovely old country pub, with everything that comes with that kind of venue. Hearty, (but probably not healthy!) breakfast, large rooms, old fashioned sash windows, fireplaces in every room... that kind of thing. As it's an old building, some of the floors are not quite level, so some of my things had a habit of sliding across the table onto the floor. But everything was clean and well presented; the bed was mostly comfy, just a little hard for my taste. The staff were lovely, and smiled a lot.

Stayed two nights and could not fault service or food. Really enjoyed stay.

Conveniently located place to stay in Lacock with friendly staff and clean, good sized rooms - great breakfast.

Great place in Lacock - really friendly team - great Dog “Dave” - must be best breakfast in the area - best English Breakfast in a pub ever for me I think. Evening meal ok, basic pub food. Few scuff marks in the room, bathroom, skirting board, etc , but view and little comforts made up for it, fab windows and shutters and comfy bed. Good sleep.

no hot warer on first night but it was fixed the next morning. Food was only fair but the staff were friendly
