The Ridge Hotel Portage

An average good stay. Bathroom not the cleanest.

It was okay alittle dirty and a little loud.

Poor internet-no pool (they advertise one)- no coffee...Just a overpriced mess. No coming back again. Smell in the room irritated my nose.

This is now a hotel that has full time people living there. It was no smoking but the hall smelled terrible of smoke. Our room was clean but the halls have not been vacuumed in a long time

Had a little trouble with key card. It got fixed

Room was clean. But very sketchy otherwise. Did not feel safe. People hanging out in hallways and by open doors. I think they probably live there. Dimos (bar/restaurant)was very clean and had great food. But i wont stay there again.

The shower was not clean along with the shower curtain, the rugs seemed to have not been vacuumed in a while. There were dead bugs on the wall, but the beds were clean. The staff were nice, exterior and parking were nice.

The building itself is very old, and the entire inside reeks of cigarettes and marijuana. The room we stayed in had a door to connect to the room next to it, and they were smoking marijuana all night. Our room reeked. The only thing going for this place is they have really comfortable beds.

The pool was closed . There was no ice bucket in the room . When I asked for an ice bucket at the desk , they said they have none and gave me a plastic garbage bag ..Had to turn on the fridge and the TV by a switch behind tje dresser
