The Ridge Hotel Portage

Already put in for no charge cancelation due to pulling up to this place and not even feeling like getting out of the vehicle, very dirty, unkept, sketchy.

Not great. Very outdated. Room had a layer of dust on everything. Pool wasn’t open. Guy working front desk had an attitude. Wouldn’t recommend.

When we were checking in he couldnt find my reservations. Did it thru Hotels.com The front desk person was very confused took over 20 mins and he still struggled to find.my reservation. Dont think he did cause he said it was paid for in cash, but i paid on hotels.com i finally got.my room half hour later. They are renovating so things are dirty. Room was ok, AC WORKED GREAT. Toilet is for little people but shower was good! Maybe next time id just try their website.

Pool and hot tub not working,hotel being worked on a mess everywhere, room was clean and just painted and bed was very comfortable

The room and bathroom had not been cleaned. The bedding looked disheveled.

6/03/23: DO NOT STAY HERE! Property is under construction. Carpet in elevator and common areas was beyond filthy. Told our room had new carpet and new beds. Not so. Stains on blankets. Cheetos under one bed. My skin crawled. We immediately left. The 2 women at the front desk were very nice. Agreed to full refund. Expedia helped. It was deplorable that our booking was even taken. (Feeling PTSD even now!)

They didn't have any record of my reservation. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to give us the last room at a discounted rate. Are room was supposed to be all "new" but it might have been a few years ago! It worked for the price but I wouldn't go back.

Terrible it should be condemned. No door knob on door to our room n others. Ripped curtains, dusty, fingerprints on tv. Stain on bedspread. We would not stay there.

Property is being renovated so very messy. Hot tub not working Big disappointment ans no ice but room did have a fridge.
