Kelapa Retreat & Spa

Kelapa offers a super remote, peaceful locations with beautiful gardens and a feeling of privacy while being immersed in nature. The villas are spacious and comfortable, and the beach is relatively clean and empty. I enjoyed long walks there as well as through the on-site gardens. Their coconuts and turmeric are grown on-site and were lovely.

I was incentivized to write a review before I checked out, which I did, in exchange for a free massage. Unfortunately, after I'd left reviews on other platforms, the spa kept moving my massage time and ultimately canceled. For me, this didn't leave a positive impression, though I can recommend the massages here as I paid for one upon arrival and thoroughly enjoyed it. While there are many staff members and all are friendly, I think communication between them and guests could be improved. In addition to the scheduling mishaps with the spa (for 'free' massage only), I often had to ask 3 different team members at buffet breakfast which items were vegetarian because they didn't know. It would have been nice to be informed about which items on the menu or at breakfast were grown by them and organic. These are simple fixes that I think could easily be improved.

The location is very far from city, but it isn’t problem. The villa very old, everything is destroying, it is pity. But the biggest problem - restaurant. I ordered the dish from chef and it was mistaken. The seafood was rotten!!! It is terrible. There were a lot of flys in the restaurant. Very dirty.

I’d not recommend to go there. We immediately leaved this Vila instead of the fact then we will not give money back. So, vacation was a little spoiled. I list my money and ate rotten seafood.

Insanely good staff and resort. Excellent restaurant, spa and activities while staying away from busy south Bali.

Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Pool direkt am Garten/Hauptpool/Strand. Von daher war die Lage schon mal erstklassig. Das rundherum um das Hotel nichts weiter los war, war uns bekannt. Von daher einen sehr relaxten Urlaub erlebt mit ein paar Ausflügen, die vom Hotel sehr gut organisiert waren.
