Belles Artes Apartments

We spent two nights here on our arrival from the United States, and one night two weeks later before our departure. We rented a car and drove South as far as Chiloe Island and back with multiple stops in small hotels and cabanas. Everything went smoothly.

We stayed here for two nights. Very good location, close to city and sights. And close to the station. 15 min walk to bellavista. Friendly and helpful staff.

Room itself was great - large, clean, perfect views of Santiago, and close to public transportation... Was a little difficult to get in touch with staff, however. We checked in late at night and only guards are present to give you room access. When we tried to call the hotel staff the next morning (after 8:30am when they opened), no one answered despite several attempts. However, we did go to the office (620A) and the person we spoke with was very helpful and courteous. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and would stay there again.

Its much smaller than in the add. The apartment is located in a huge university dorm like building with tiny units. When I arrived, I had to wait at the security check in the entry into the dorm complex in a freezing cold for the "reception guy". The wi-fi was not working during all my stay. I called the reception the first night, nobody responded at the reception, it was 8pm. Next day the reception guy promised to come to fix wi-fi in 20 minutes, but never showed up. I waited for 1 hour, and then called, but nobody picked up the phone, even though it was 8 pm and the reception was supposed to be open until 9 pm. So I had to look for coffee shops with wi-fi. The hot water supply is very strange.. first you have to wait forever until it becomes hot.. and finally when you get it and think to enjoy your hot shower.. while you showering.. it can suddenly change to ice cold.. if your neighbor is using his shower too.. Last day, I found a note on my door asking me to call someone - I guessed it was about the payment. I called nobody responded. I tried again next morning 1 hour before my taxi to go to the airport and asked about the payment, and the sleepy voice on the other end told me "don't worry, we will charge your credit card". It was a very strange experience in overall. From my colleagues I learned about other decent hotels for better price in the same neighborhood...

The apartment though small was far better than a hotel room. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well furnished. The kitchenette was very useful with oven, microwave and large fridge freezer. There is also a small sitting area. The downside is the fact that the room we had overlooked the street and was on the sunny side of the building. The result was that the apartment was extremely noisy due to the traffic and extremely hot due to the sun coming through the picture windows covering the whole of one side of the apartment. The room was equiped with a fan which did help to circulate the air and did help with the noise if we closed the windows completely. An apartment on the other side of the building away from sun and traffic would be marvellous.

A great place for couples to stay in Santiago. The rooms are clean, modern, and come with fully-equipped kitchens. There's also a pool on the roof, which you can access for free. The location couldn't get much better; there is a large grocery store right next door, and Cerro Santa Lucia is just around the corner. The main square is only 4 blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the checkout/checkin process was easy enough to figure out. We were completely satisfied with our stay here. It didn't hurt that the cleaning lady cleaned our dirty dishes for us every day, too!

We wanted a good combination of price and quality... and we we found it!. I was in a business trip, and my wife decided to come with me... finally we both were happy and very satisfied. This is a residential building in an excellent downtown location.

Everything was fine. Very pleasant personnel, cleaning room better than my own house... Neighborhood area is very convenient for my busineess and a happy hour with friends after work.

At the center of the city, the apartment is very complete, nice decoration, and with a big supermarket in the first floor. I found it great !

The apartment was small but far enough for one or two people.
