I stayed at Hotel Maison Tofani and had a terrible experience. There was no running water in our room — not in the toilet, shower, or sink. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, they refused to move us to a new room and claimed it was a "city-wide issue." However, we spoke to other nearby businesses, and they all had running water — so clearly this was a problem with the hotel, not the city. This situation was completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that presents itself as upscale. No water means no ability to use the bathroom or shower — completely unsanitary. We asked for a full refund given the circumstances, but the hotel did not accommodate us. I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere, especially if you expect basic amenities and accountability when something goes wrong.

Location was great! Breakfast was very good, rooms were big enough to accommodate families.

Some areas need better maintenance and/or renovation e.g. bathroom showers were a little deteriorated, some drains not working properly. We found other people’s clothes in one of the drawers plus one wrapped cigar behind a sofa bed.

Great location, staff extremely helpful, room was beautiful, great breakfast, and lots of shopping and dining just steps away. Will definitely stay here again!

The atmosphere, the location, the decoration, the breakfasts, the tortoise that visited us at breakfast,the balcony.

The bed and pillows were very hard, but that’s just personal preference. As i felt it was marketed as a hotel would be nice to have a bar in the evenings to get a drink or snacks.

Lovely accomodation in the heart of the old town.The. grand building and its origins has an interesting history. A bit tricky to get to as the hotel is in the pedestrian area and we had a car, and heavy luggage but the staff were most helpful in getting our luggage and advising which car park was the best value for money. Breakfast was in the most beautiful room with ceiling frescoes and it was simply delicious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

This property is in the most ideal spot in Sorrento - easy to walk everywhere, but tucked away in a small alleyway with Italian street vendors. We enjoyed the Italian feel of the hotel, and took advantage of the balcony and rooftop seating area. The room was very clean, and provided all the amenities we needed. The front desk receptionist was always available for questions, and was extremely helpful! I would highly recommend, and revisit!
