Hotel Baja

Was not the first time we stayed here but this time we got a 2 rooms in my room old electronics and old furniture, we’ll be looking into another place next time we visit.

Office service was terrible

Smelled sanitized and clean, but the bed sheets were clearly not changed, nor the towels. Hair on the sheets and pillows, we tried to change and the stored pillows and sheets were twice as dirty you could see dirt smeared or old dust on them. Luckily we had brought our own sheets and towels. Next day our room was cleaned and smelled fresh, got clean towels, but still sheets were not changed.

No internet No privacy, blinds broken evryone passing can see inside Warer on shower poorly not enough pressure...lamps not working Hard mattress old sheets and pillows

We only stayed one night because there was no hot water in the room so they moved us to another but had the same problem. The window shade slats were falling off so had to cover the window with a sheet. Asked for a refund and was told would have to go through hotels.com Would not recommend

if you like rustic and authentic then this is for you no elevators it's all you I love the look of the tile the white pillars as you pull up the rooms are big and clean bring your own everything they do have towels and some rooms have both mini fridge and micro but no coffee pots so bring your own and washcloths too. the pool is old but it's blue and cools you off the shower has good pressure good hot water and the staff is very friendly we'll be back for our 4th stay.

Everything was great! Other than

We had Jr suite. Pull out couch was awful. Dirty mattress and hard to open and close. Put a clean sheet on it. And it was manageable. Mattress's in other room were really hard but we did so much during the day, we all just fell asleep. Pool was wonderful. Went there all the time. Open until 10pm. Swim up to bar with seats around it. Sit in water or order from deck. Drinks bartender served were delicious. Even made non liquor drinks for kids. Reasonably priced. Kids had a ball. Our 4 yr old loved it. Had a shallow part in the pool where he could walk and swim. Lots of kids played and swam. Ocean - can't walk but just drive down hill and park. Access to beach right there. Older kids and adults loved the surf coming in and played in it for hours. Some got burnt so don't forget sunscreen. Wifi didn't work at all ANYWHERE. But a great place to stay. Outside Jr suite is a large patio with chairs. From our suite we could see the Ocean. No elevator and we were on 3rd floor. LOTS of steps to walk up. I would stay again. Reasonable price.
