The Elgin Mount Pandim - Heritage Resort & Spa

This was our third stay at The Elgin group of hotels, the previous ones being Kolkata and Kalimpong and there is no doubt that the Elgin Pelling boasts of the best location. When yiu wake up to see the mighty Kanchenjunga, playing hide and seek as clouds block qnd reveal it's mighty presence, it is magic unfolding. The Elgin Pelling provides you just that, so much so that you can choose to stay at the hotel without heading anywhere in Pelling. What makes the stay all the more comfortable is the joyous nature of the staff, who ensure you are taken care of, the food which blew our minds away and the warmth of the entire place. Highly recommend!

I booked it for the spa, which when I got there was closed for renovation. if I had known this I would have cancelled the booking. I was not informed in advance and would expect compensation for this since it ruined this part of my holiday. You do not expect to go to a spa hotel without a spa!

Location was good. Needed little more variety in menu selection.

Food menu and food items were very expensive.
