Hotelito Azul

This a very unique property. It started out with wrong room but was fixed. I had paid for an ocean view. Rooms were very nice, both rooms. Shampoo/conditioner and body wash in bathrooms. No TVs. I went for major R and R and thats what i got. Loved Olivias and Agave restaurants. There is a nice restaurant across the street also. It feels like your staying in the jungle. I would stay again. I really loved coffee delivery to room every morning, i wish they offered Tea with that delivery. I did not try pool as water was briskly cold. Ocean was fantastic.

Amazing stay!! The gym is brand new and huge, Technogym equipment. Serene setting, very quiet and relaxing. Prefect location to enjoy Tulum by foot or car. Free parking. Great restaurants close by. Muchos Gracias Hotelito Azul. Incredible !

The hotel is exactly as advertised, a wonderful jungle treehouse hotel and a perfect spot for both couples and families. The rooftop pools are a great addition for a sunset drink apart from the gorgeous beach. Great food and especially wonderful staff that’s extremely welcoming and helpful.

The hotel was amazing, the views were breathtaking. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and hopeful. Both restaurants Olivia and agave had amazing food, the service was impeccable. The morning smoothies were a wonderful addition. They had parking on site and the beach was relaxing and clean

We stayed at Hotel Azul because in our previous trip (3 years ago) to Tulum we were staying at a different property but in our wondering around we stumbled into Azul I believe because they coffee or a bakery. They were very inviting and we ended up having drinks at the pool with great service. The property is still nice unfortunately service is very lacking. There are two restaurants on prop and both are owned by someone other than the hotel. This causes some oddities and complete lack of service. We tried the in room breakfast twice both times it was terrible but what was worse as this restaurant is not part of the hotel really the cleaning staff would not remove the old food or plates. Even if you put them outside your door they would be there until a animal took the food then the dishes would just sit. The service at the beach is done by the other restaurant and as long as someone is there its pretty good but quite often you have to go looking for someone. Car or scooter parking is about 2 US blocks away and do to the location to get to most of the services in the area you will need one. It was a lot of little things like chairs with the bottoms broken out of them by the pool or no one lighting the candle votives that guide you up the steps to your room most nights. Then the service issues that made this vacation less than what we hoped for as the staff 3 years ago was on point. I hope they figure it out as its a cool hotel overall.

The property was charming, clean, friendly, and right to the beach. You hear the sound of waves like music. The sand was soft. No need for shoes.

Need to work on getting a bigger sign or visible that shows the hotel name. I passed it twice because theirs a big palm tree covering the hotel name. And if you have a rental. You have to park 2 buildings down from the hotel. Also, they keep the gate locked so not very convenient in getting in and out. Other than that this place has good food, and the room was nice with good service. Also theirs a restaurant across the street for dinner options.

Hotelito Azul was absolutely gorgeous! This stay felt like a dream jungle oasis on the beach. The staff were so kind, engaged and genuinely wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Highly recommend! Best spot in town

Love all of the organic options! Truly a beautiful / special place. All of the staff is amazing and the rooms have hammocks on the porch. The beach is clean and they have several cabanas and chairs that you can lay out on. The even bring food to you right at the beach. 10/10 would stay at again!

We stayed in an ocean view suite overlooking the huts and the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean was just perfect. Something we love! The grounds are tropical and well designed with hammocks, a little cute bar, a laidback beach area with bar and a stunning rooftop with two pool areas and amazing views! We were a bit worried arriving as we had read some pretty bad reviews, but we’re happy to find that this place was exactly what we hoped it would be. Cute, beachy & relaxed. Service was great and professional, everyone were kind & especially Mariano took good care of our check in and our departure. The food is great too. And the spicy margaritas are delicious ! We could have wished that breakfast was served on the beach as there are such beautiful views in the morning. - perhaps something to consider! But other than that. All was great! The What’s app butler service prior to arriving were great too. We had transportation arranged through that. Thanks for a great stay!
