Really enjoyed the layout of the property and all the plants tbat provided a natural canopy. All the staff was very helpful and ready to assist. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband & I had an extremely wonderful stay at the Hotelito Azul. Our accommodations were nice, clean & comfy. The entire staff was very gracious, attentive & kind. Mariano was the most wonderful host to us. Griselda did a great job taking care of our room & she was lovely to us. The grounds are very well maintained & so inviting. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful environment.

I stayed at Hotelito Azul with my wife and 2-year-old son in Jan 2025. Our stay was wonderful. Once you get in you feel you’re really in a tropical dream world. The vibe is very chill and relaxing from the moment you’re in the reception area. The grounds are gorgeous and you always feel you’re in a jungle wherever you’re going (from the reception area to the room, pool, beach, etc). The room decoration is in a sophisticated rustic style without compromising comfort. The 2 pools and the 2 jacuzzis are located on the rooftop, which offer a fantastic 360 view of the ocean at the front and the jungle in the back. The staff is friendly and very professional offering an efficient service. GRISELDA, the lady who would clean our room was very friendly and make a different surprise to our son everyday (she would fold the towels in different shapes such as a dog or a dino, which our son loved). We had only an issue that was quickly resolved: there was a bit loud music on the rooftop and the baby couldn’t fall asleep, but once I asked the staff they turned down the volume. After that, I could only hear the sea waves and the wind on the palm trees. The hotel grounds leads directly on to the beach which is gorgeous with white sand and warm blue water. They have two restaurants (Olivia and Agave) with great food. One should only be aware of the prices that are on par with what you pay in an expensive city like NYC. Also, breakfast is not included.

First off, the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a huge sniff of moldiness. Thats when i knew this isnt gna be good. They charge you for everything. The moment you arrive to check-in, you are charged a ‘service charge’ and a deposit hold. If they have my cc on file, why do they charge for deposit? Didnt make sense. Honestly, the place itself and the rooms felt dingy. I understand its the ‘jungleish vibe, and very hippyish’ but as far as sanitation -wise , didnt meet standards. Everything on this hotel is purely for aesthetic and all the amenities have no purpose. Its like the teemu version of a hotel that has potential with the right management/ownership who is willing to focus what people will pay for. Instead, this almost feels like a bait and switch. They bait you with aesthetic decor and picture by social media influencers but the quality falls significantly short. Please book elsewhere where you the price you’re paying for is what its worth. I dont mind paying $ for value but unfortunately this place is not a hit. All the staff on the property were super friendly and nice. The person who checked us in Marciano was friendly and accessible. During checkout, i guess the room i was staying in was missing a water bottle that was suppose to be in the room. They asked me about a glass water bottle … instead maybe offer a bottle of water to your guests as accommodation? Its hot as hell in the lobby and it smells moldy. Rubbed customer the wrong way.

If you are looking to relax and enjoy quite time this is the place. The property and room were very cleaned and the staff is always willing to help with anything you need. I will go on vacation and stay here again. Just loved it.

Great location and right on the beach. But the room was advertised as ocean view which is the reason I picked the room and paid the premium but actually it has no ocean view.

Extremely pleased with our stay at Azul. The staff is friendly and attentive. Victor at the Agave restaurant deserves a special mention. You could call on him for food and drink suggestions, beach towels, sunscreen, and he would assist with a big smile and a great vibe. Overall, it was an amazing, pleasant, and relaxing experience.
