Hotel Carpa Manzano

Location in the city centre. Reception staff was very nice and responsive.

This hotel needs to be refreshed! First, there is no lift, so we had to climb stars with all the heavy luggage. Second, the room was small and gloomy and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was the most disappointing thing about this hotel - tasteless coffee, cold scramble eggs, poor choice of food. To sum up, it was definitely not worth the money we paid.

It was so dirty, I laid my clothes on the bed to sleep on. The bathroom had water stains on the faucet, I was too tired to go to another hotel so I closed my eyes pretending not to see the dirt & dust around the entire room. Upscale hotels same price!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Linens were clean. TV and internet service was available.

Stairs only to entrance. No elevator to upper floors. Staff did help carry our luggage up to the room. We are an older couple and one of us has a broken arm in a sling.

Cozy hotel, very kind reception staff, close to the city center. The breakfast was prepared in the packets (because we left early at 7.00 a.m. to Magdalena island, as most of the tourists). Possible to keep luggages at the reception after check-out.

The advise: it would be comfortable to have the kettle and cups in the room - to make the tea or coffe (it's cold in Patagonia...)

Hotel is convenient for short stay in Punta Arenas before travel to other destinations. Staff in Hotel is very friendly. Breakfast is very good.
