Hotel Carpa Manzano

It is quaint with a good location

A bit run down. Did not like dragging my suitcase down two flights of stairs with no help from reception. No elevator

The hotel is comfortable and with kind staff. It was centralish to everything so great as a base. We went to do the o trail in Torres del Paine's and they were very kind in keeping our luggage for eight days without charge. Not big rooms, but comfortable enough for a few days break.

The bathroom could do with a walk in shower instead of over a small bath. It was slippy and a little dangerous getting in and out.

Friendly, clean. Above and beyond service. Fabulous breakfast and flexible schedule. Good location. Walk to the straits of Magellan and main square. Would return in a heartbeat! Good value. Comfortable beds. You will feel right at home!

Unfortunately my shower didn’t work well- a broken tap with poor water pressure. Twin room was tight

The room was nice enough and big, the breakfast was fine.

I wish more of the staff spoke English, it's challenging when hotelstaff don't speak English. They tried to be helpful though. No duvets, but sheets with a blanket inbetween.

Carpa Manzana is a pretty hotel located within easy walking distance to the bus station, supermarket, pharmacy, shops and some nice restaurants (try La Marmita for lunch or dinner only 2 1/2 blocks away!) Rooms included blow dryer, TV, soap shampoo, hair conditioner and a tub. We actually had a real king sized bed (first in Patagonia). Cesar at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. He answered all my questions and gave me a map so I could figure out where I was going. Kudos to him for a job well done. I cannot speak for the breakfast that they provide because we left so early the next morning. They were kind enough to pack us a breakfast bag since we left early but honestly, it was quite disappointing...I would have rather had nothing. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend it!

The hotel room was clean. It's an older hotel so the rooms are a bit small. And it could use an upgrade to newer bedspreads and curtains.
