Amphora Hotel

Really great place to stay. Right over at a restaurant right on the harbor. Make sure you opt for the breakfast which is probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The food in the restaurant downstairs is also out of this world.

Lovely old property right in the heart of the old town. Large roof terrace with wonderful views of the harbour. Our room also had a great harbour view. The staff were really helpful and friendly, both on the front desk and in the breakfast room, and their English is excellent. The restaurant was right on the harbour edge with great food, good non-pushy service. We would definitely stay again.

Boutique Hotel with lots of character. Best location on the old port. Balconies overlooking water. Amazing rooftop views if you dont pick a balcony. Lovely staff. Spotless clean.

Fantastic location, clean and charming hotel with great service. Would stay here again when I'm I come back to Chania.

Nice small hotel

Chania was a charming surprise in our Greek trip and Amphora Hotel was an even better surprise! Our suite was spacious and the view of the Old Venetian Port from our balcony was unparalleled. We had the chance to try the restaurant as well, which is one of the best meals we had also.

My stay at Amphora Hotel was wonderful. Organised a taxi through the hotel that picked us up and brought us to the hotel where a member of staff was waiting in the old town. They took our bags and wheeled them all the way to the hotel and up the stairs. Reception staff was so helpful providing us with recommendations on where to go and how to get there. The room was so nice and the views of the harbour are amazing. They gave us a free bottle of wine that we could drink on the balcony while enjoying the view. Breakfast is good, large variety of food to choose from. Staff are so nice and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Only downside was we booked the room with one of the beds on the mezzanine; the air con air flow didn’t reach up there so got a bit hot and stuffy at night but should have realised that was a possibility given it is summer.

Amphora has everything for me, a lovely individual feeling, excellent staff, and the location is fantastic. I’m going back!
