Amphora Hotel

According to a front desk staff, all rooms have some problems, ours had a very small bathroom, very difficult to shower, no views (hotels.com shows a harbour view) and very noise, weird shape. They don't change towels and their problem resolution consists in trying to sell you a another room at their rip-off prices. Maybe it is cheap for a reason

An excellent hotel - perfect location and the view from the roof terraces of the harbour incredible. This is a perfect spot to have breakfast and watch the world go by. The restaurant is located right on the waterfront and again great place to chill and people watch. Staff service was excellent gave me trips on things to see and do and recommendations on gorge trip. All in all a wonderful hotel with friendly staff - would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent location right in the old harbour area. It’s a small hotel and my room was particularly small for a split level unit. The room was a little dated but it was clean. Don’t expect 5 star luxury but it was good value for the money. I would say 3 star at best in a great location.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The location is perfect, right on the harbor with beautiful views! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception gave us tips on places to go and we had great breakfast on the terrace each morning, served by Augustine who was very welcoming! The hotel is very clean, the rooms are a good size and safe. Nothing bad to say! Great place for families, friends or solo travelers! The restaurant downstairs is also very good.

La vue sur le port de la vieille ville et la proximité des commerces en fait un hôtel ecellent.

The hotel is very well located. Staff is really polite and professional. Very clean and comfortable. The A/C was very handy as it was very hot outside. We had a room with sea view and it was breathtaking. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good and the prices were fair in comparison to other places around. Plus the guest discount was very appreciated. We recommend 100% to stay there if you're going to Chania!

Wonderful boutique hotel along the Venetian Harbor. The staff was so warm and friendly, often smiling and eager to assist. I had a fantastic stay at this little hotel and really loved the two beautiful roof terraces with incredible views of Venetian Harbor and the mountains in the distance. This hotel exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price I paid. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location in Chania - charm and character, staff was great and views fantastic, Lots of steps to the room - be prepared to climb. No parking close by - we were fortunate to find a space a Talos Square but not easy to find a space. Cannot drop off bags as street is closed to traffic. If you don't need a car even better. Lots of restaurants/bars so be prepared for some noise in the evening. For us the positives outweighed any negatives. Would definitely stay her again.
