Canary Beach Resort

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 days 3 nights in May of 2016. Firstly, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The resort itself has gorgeous grounds with a nice pool and beach area. We were very happy with it all. It's a small but busy resort that (at least when we were there) catered to 90% Vietnamese nationals, mostly being families. There were children everywhere running amok with water guns, screaming, and inundating the pool. If this bothers you, I recommend you look elsewhere. We booked the highest class of room before the suite, the ocean view balcony. We paid $88CAD /night thru hotels.com. The view was lovely and the room was clean, despite a broken shower head which wasn't an issue as there were two showers. The patio was awesome and had a wicked view of the beach. The A/C was strong and did a great job at night. Overall the room was perfect for us. Location wise it's on the main strip 1 minute walk from the fairy stream and a short cab or motorbike from Mui Ne town. Overall we were happy with this resort, but there are a few things that detracted from our experience that are worth mentioning: 1) The breakfast buffet was very poor quality food and the breakfast room itself is a complete dump. The tables are barley cleaned and were a mess; garbage littered the floor everywhere each morning. It really detracted from the classy resort feel. How hard is it to just clean that stuff up after the previous table leaves? Sloppy. On a side note: We did also try the main restaurant and the food was great, with a nice open air feel. It was clean, and despite mostly indifferent staff was great. It's the breakfast buffet that needs work. 2) My girlfriend and I were sitting by the pool with our e-readers around noon, and a grounds keeper decided it was time to clean the pool deck with a hose. She started obnoxiously spraying all around us and under our chairs, while we were sitting on them until we yelled at her. Are you kidding me? You couldn't wait? We are paying guests. I was blown away by the brashness and total lack of respect. They just have no concept of tact or politeness. We found it very unprofessional. 3) This isn't a complaint for Canary, but more of a heads up to travellers thinking of booking: the neighbouring resort blasts awful karaoke all night, which drifts onto this resort. Recommend you bring ear plugs. Verdict: Beautiful hotel and grounds with a poor sense of service, catered to Vietnamese families. Sweet pool area and great location.

I travelled solo and was very satisfied with hotel. Nice resort feel with large clean pool. Stayed in garden view room which was good size and very clean and private balcony. The beach was satisfactory as there was trash along the sand just outside of beachfront of hotel. Staff was friendly and easy to communicate (English) with. The breakfast was very good/buffet. Good for family, couples or solo. Central location with easy access to shops and places to eat. The poolside bar service struggled as the liquor options were limited and the staff did not know how to mix even the simplest of drinks. However, they allowed me to mix my own which was nice. Overall great place for the price.

I booked this resort base on some reviews and also pictures of the resort. This is a fairly new resorts that can be easily outperform some 4 Stars' in the area if it was managed properly. However, these are the issues that I found while staying there last week. A/C in the room - noisy and not even cold. I was sweating the whole time inside. Water pressure - water pressure for the shower is horrible. I couldn't even wash my hair! I finally gave up and went to one of the salon on the street. Staffs- No staffs are smiling! They all sported a blank look and walked the other way when they see guests. Breakfast - foods are horrible! I mean, why would anyone pan fried bacons inside the eating area which does not have any A/C or ventilation fan? Overall, I will not stay or recommend anyone to stay at this place until all of the above were fixed. The only good thing about this place is a nice pool and decent beach. Other than that, go elsewhere.

靠近海灘, 不錯的游池, 附近已經有不錯的餐廳. 不過有book day tour 時出了錯誤以至看不到日出.

We've booked deluxe but they give us standart room and didnt compensate. All deluxe rooms are looking to the parking area which is very noisy. The water in the shower was very poor, i cant even wash my short hair through. When you shower you are standing in a puddle with soap as water is very poorly drained. Tv is old, fabric on lamps was all distressed. Very noisy as the windows and doors do not close enough. All towels are old and with stains. 70% of the sunbeds are broken. The aircond is old, loud and the water flow from it all the time. Lisards are living in the room and at the night come oout to eat something. Wifi is good only at the reception, bad at pool and almost no wifi in the room

I have just finished the 2 days trip with my family at Canary Beach Resort, 60 Huynh Thuc Khang, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet. Totally frustrated with serving service, quality of the room of this claimed 3 stars hotels Checked on 9 Feb and checked out on 11 Feb, and we received 2 deluxe garden rooms 104 and 108. Despite of some mosquitos in the room, I don't want to make a complaint. However, room 108 quality was too bad compared to the price of USD70 they charged me. Opened the door, my parents were so scared with more than 40 mosquitos, we counted, and terrible toilet smell. We made a polite complaint with the receptionist and ask them to arrange to change the room to my parents, but just received a impolite feedback as they received the full amount paid in advance... Mui Ne, Phan Thiet has lots of very good resorts. Avoid or take care when booking a room at this resort.

1층이라서 에어콘 실외기소리가 들려 불편했슴. 수영장과 해변이 가까운것은 만족 아침식사는 과일위주로 간단한 것이었슴 직원들이 영어권이 아니라 불편한 부분이 있었슴.
