Hotel Diego De Almagro Talca

Bueno, bonito, barato... Todo bien... Lo único que no me gustó fue que no nos quisieron hacer una factura, y como fue viaje de negocios, me cuesta rendir el gasto.

La atención fue pésima, llegue a mi habitación alrededor de las 12:30 AM del día 19-03-2018, estaba corriendo agua en la habitación del lado, avise al recepcionista en innumerables oportunidades, quien fue absolutamente descortés, dándome como solución cambiarme de habitación a las 2:00 AM a dos pisos más que el mio, dado el cansancio no era solución para mi. La solución era que subiese y abriera la habitación del lado la cual se encontraba desocupada y cerrara la llave. Al día siguiente hablo con la Gerenta del Hotel, quien fue peor no empatizando conmigo, sino con el recepcionista, quien además me acuso de haberlo insultado y estar armando un escándalo, le pedí a la gerenta del hotel revisar los vídeos y audio, ya que en ningún momento lo insulte y menos hice un escándalo, sino le pedi me dieran una solución ya que no había dormido en toda la noche...fue imposible hablar con ellos, llamándome enormemente la atención poco deferente y no empatica por parte dela Gerenta del Hotel.

I recently stayed for one week. This hotel is well located, and the staff are excellent. The rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable and a good size. Breakfast is good although they are sometimes slow to replenish food. Everything you may want may not be available, I only found natural yoghurt on the last day, but there is enough variety for everybody. The Wi Fi is very good as a rule. There is a pool and sauna which I didn't use but I heard they were good. A couple of things surprised me however. Firstly, there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room so you have to order from room service or use the purchasable cold drinks in the fridge. Secondly, there is no iron in the room, in fact there is no iron in the hotel, anywhere! There is a reasonably priced laundry service that is available every day except Sunday. Not terribly helpful when you arrive on a Sunday afternoon and are giving a presentation on Monday morning. This is my first time in a chilean hotel, so maybe this is expected. Despite the two issues, I am giving it 4 stars because the hotel is very efficient, professional, friendly and super clean. It is billed as 3 star and as such is very good.

Very charming hotel with hot water and big rooms. The dinner was very good but the breakfast could have more options. The hotel is big, the parking lot has a decent number of cars. I would return here.!

The hotel’s location provides easy access to town. We enjoyed a nice, clean and spacious room, well equipped. The upper floors come with an interesting overview of town and surroundings. Breakfast was ok. Staff is friendly but only capable of word fragments in English.

I use to visit the DA Hoteles. They are very similar all along the country. I recommend the restaurant tu visit the restaurant.

Nice and comfortable, placed in the middle of the city, near a park. The service was good and clean. Food was fine, they offer breakfast buffet also. Good place to stay in a business trip, safe and comfy

The hotel staff were excellent and helped me readily. Despite my inability to speak Spanish, even the staff that didn't speak much English took their time and made the effort to get key points across. The room was large and comfortable and I had no complaints. I stayed on a Sunday night and walked around the area, but didn't feel completely comfortable on the dark streets with many abandoned buildings. I knew from the staff that it was quite safe however, and appreciated that reassurance.
