Extremely disappointed with our stay there. RUDE and unhelpful staff. Air conditioning did to work and there was no ceiling fan to help with cooling situation. There is not a phone in the room to call reception. There were No towels, No shampoo nor conditioner, No shower caps, No lotion, No bath mat. When I walked downstairs to ask for these things I was not given towels to take up. I was told I had to wait and they would be brought up to us. When we did get the towels we only got two bath towels. No wash cloths nor bath mat. As for the shampoo and conditioner, I was told that all they offered was the body wash that was in an attached container to the wall (like the ones that are found in public restrooms for hand washing purposes) which had to be pumped and all you got was a tiny bit per pump. They said they did not offer lotion, nor shower caps. Terrible food in restaurant and drink selection (soft drinks and juice) was very limited. The sheets were clean. Pool was very nice but closed way to early in the evening so we did not get to enjoy it. Overall stay was very awful and so not worth the money we spent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

The hotel made our stay in Granada , it is a chocolate museum and an amazing old colonial/Spanish style building. The pool and bar are beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - especially tony at concierge. Massages and spa treatments are half price when staying at the hotel. There is free secure parking. It also looks like a great place to learn Spanish as everyday in the courtyard they had one on one tutoring going on. I would highly recommend

When we arrived at the hotel we had booked a triple deluxe room with a city or mountain view and instead were placed in a small room with 2 single beds on the first floor for 4 people. When we asked why we were told they were booked and had no other option but would not compensate us. Only after many complaints did a room all of a sudden become available at 10pm at night that was bigger but still no view. We were never told how to get the free breakfast included and had to ask several times and be directed back and forth between the front desk and cafe to finally be given tickets for the meal. The housekeeper never came to clean our room after being out all day on Saturday. The hotel has a great location but sadly they treated us like we were an annoyance not guests. They were not helpful when we asked for explanations. When we left we asked about the inconvenience of having to move twice and not getting the room we booked and they told us they would not compensate us but we could go to the spa (we were checking out and had our bags packed when this was offered so it was basically meaningless). They were so many nice hotels at the same or less price closer to the plaza that were much friendlier and did not treat you with such disregard I would stay elsewhere.

Good swimming pool, friendly staff. Breakfast was okay. We stayed in the Butter room. There was no shampoo or soap in the shower. The sink was horrible, could barley get your hands under the tap to wash. They gave us some bottled water the first day but not the second. When we asked for more the woman at the front desk gave me a sour look. You cannot drink the water from the tap and there was no store near to purchase. Would be nice to have a small fridge. It is close to the centre of town. Walking distance to most places of interest.

Myself and my friend stayed in the hotel for one night, in that night our room got broken into- the management moved us but only on us server my complaining- they ignored us in the morning and we were made to feel a nuisance. As two girls traveling alone this is unacceptable we did not feel safe and the staff didn't care- also the facial I had was probably the worst in my life

Mansión de Chocolate was a great find while in Granada. The value for what we got was fantastic. Loved the pool and the central location near to Central Park & Calle La Calzada.

This is our second time staying, with a great pool and garden it was a no brainer to take our family here. Tony whom had taken great care of us last time when my back was out again went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! The only thing that boggles my mind is the terrible furniture, it is so out of place for this beautiful hotel.

Friendly staff, well located, very clean. I highly recommend.

At check in we went to our room and it had a terrible smell. The TV signal was very poor and I called maintenance who told me it was an external problem that affected the whole property. They forgot I booked 2 rooms and the signal in the other room was perfect. It was sold to us as a very calmed place and the very first night one of the owners had a party with karaoke 2 meters away from the room of my father in law that lasted till midnight so they could not sleep. Second day we were out the whole day and arrived late night. Smell and TV were exactly the same. Besides I specifically requested the room not to be done and when we arrived the room was done and our stuff was moved everywhere different that where we left them. Third day I was with my family by the pool when a housekeeper came and told me we needed to change room as there was a water fall in the room. Of course the smell was terrible! They moved us to another room which had no towels no cousins and clearly was not prepared for guests. Once we went to the room and moved our stuff I tried to turn the AC on and it was not working!!!! There was only one person of the staff on the hotel and he called the maintenance guy who came and told me that they had changed the remore control. Once we got to the room the AC was on but not working! I had to go again to front desk and the guy had to change us AGAIN! to another room. At the end I had to spend the whole night moving from a place to another and couldnt share with family
