Nice, stylish and quiet hotel, with excellent service. Breakfast are delicious and you can't beat the location.

Impeccable hotel in the heart of Merida's historic district - just steps to dozens of outstanding restaurants and charming cafes, grand plazas, cathedrals, and museums. It felt like stepping off of the bustle of the streets into our own private oasis.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights whilst we explored the City and nearby cenotes. Room 6 at the top was lovely, spacious, comfortable with a big well equipped bathroom, and a view out onto the garden. The breakfasts were excellent, served by the pool and the staff were very helpful and kind to us. I had the impression that this hotel was a step up from the Hotel Hacienda as it had bigger rooms. Though there were only 3 sunbeds, we never had to compete for them, the only downside was that the pool was rarely in the sun, so it was a bit fresh! Thoroughly lovely stay and highly recommended.

We loved everything about Hotel Hacienda VIP. The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. The leisurely breakfasts by the pool were lovely and appetizing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The Centro location was close to parks and restaurants and shopping, and yet the hotel was like a little sanctuary. We would love to go back and stay here again.

Journey Mexico picked this place for us. We were totally impressed. We were treated like rock star royalty. Located on Calle 62, where you could easily be squashed by one of the many large buses rushing by the front door, you enter through the front door into an oasis of peace and quiet. There is an entryway room, and a courtyard with a swimming pool. Our room, which was #3, was palatial. We had a walk-in closet where we could have parked a small car. Bathroom was likewise generous in dimension with two sinks and all sorts of storage space. The main room with our king size bed was very nice. We had a overhead fan and air conditioner. There was a Harman Karden onyx speaker that allowed us to play music right from our iPhone via a Bluetooth connection. Another wonderful feature was the staff. Isaac in particular was super helpful to us in terms of recommendations, advice, and making restaurant reservations. For example, Thursday night there is a live concert in Santa Lucía park nearby and he insisted on making us a restaurant reservation, knowing that it would be very difficult for us to just walk in and get a table at any of the restaurants by the park. That was super helpful, as there were lots of people standing around trying to find a place to eat and we got right in to our restaurant. Most days we set out to visit parts of the town during the morning and by about two or 3 PM in the afternoon we were hot and tired. We would come back to our safe Haven, take a dip in the pool, read some, take a shower, and relax. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this place in Mérida.

Peaceful, clean, friendly staff, great location, traditional but modern aesthetic. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Mérida!

My fiancée and I stayed here for one night after a day at Chichen Itza. To be fair the property is beautiful and quite charming as are many of the buildings in the center of Merida, and it has a great location. Unfortunately given the price I do not feel that the service, amenities, and room quality are worth the high cost. My biggest issue was the lack of any ventilation, air, windows, or fans in the bathroom and so it effectively acts as a wet room and is incredibly steamy to get ready in. The bed and linens were also of a poor quality - lumpy and thin with stained bedcover. The service was also slightly strange - the employees were helpful but we had a slight issue with having to track down someone at reception at 6.15 am including going to the adjacent hotel to let us out of the parking garage (despite telling them the night before) and them saying they have a 24 hour reception.

I think the hotel only has 5 rooms, but each one is unique and luxurious. Extremely quiet if you’re looking for a place to unwind and seeing the sites of the Yucatan!

This boutique hotel is an oasis of calm. Lovely design and big, comfortable rooms (thank you air conditioning!). Nice pool and excellent breakfasts (highly recommend the huevos motuleños- YUM!). Staff were very nice and the location of the hotel is perfect. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Merida!

This is a gem of a hotel, well located and very quiet and idyllic inside. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are friendly and attentive. While the breakfast is extra is it worth the money (and very reasonably priced) I would recommend the two mexican breakfast options if you don't mind a little heat. There is parking further down the road but when you arrive you'll have to park on the street (the roads are quite narrow) and they'll direct you around the one way system to the parking lot.
