"Exceptional"

Location was excellent. Everything we wanted to do was a short walk away. The staff was attentive, welcoming and ready to help .One of the workers drove with my husband to help him find the parking lot (secure parking). One day another of the staff saw us leaving the hotel and gave us cold, bottled water to take on our walk. The property and room were gorgeous. We will definitely return!

"A true oasis right in the center"

Stayed many times and always love the quiet and character of the hacienda Merida. Great pool and sun area. Beautiful building more like a private house. Breakfast is take outside and is always extremely good. Rooms are large and well furnished. What really sells is the location with restaurants and bars a 4 min walk and plaza grande and the cathedral less than 10 mins by foot

The workers at the hotel are fabulous, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They went out of their way to find us places in the surround area as well which made for a most memorable experience.

"Beautiful hotel friendly staff with a great local"

Great staff very helpful and friendly. Felt like a Hacienda the mike the old with New very well. Perfect location close to everything but once inside you coul not hear a thing. You felt like miles away from a big city yet an easy walk to anywhere.

"Better Than in The Photos"

My wife and I recently spent 8 nights here in December. Absolutely beautiful hotel with friendly, attentive staff who make your stay an outstanding experience. We will be back in Merida in February as we are working with a real estate agent to purchase a house in Merida. I will be staying in this hotel again. It's a quiet, tranquil place to be amid all the noise and hustle and bustle of Merida. After two nights in the hotel we were upgraded to the suite at no extra charge. Apparently, it was not booked for the period we were there. The suite is literally the size of an apartment in the States. It has a lovely balcony overlooking the court hard.

"Unmet expectations."

Not a real hacienda, deceiving information in hotel description. It is more of a refurbished property made to look old.
