Inn at the Shore

We found the floor in our room buckled twisted and lifting.a single 4'×4' patch in the middle of the room.Looked like water damage and a box fan pointed at it.When we voiced our concern, the lady at the desk called the manager Andrew. I then heard Andrew say we "bikers" were just complaining that we didn't get a 2nd floor view. We DID book a view but were not disappointed as we did not have to haul heavy gear up the stairs (no elevators).Lets be clear, we are grandma and grandpa on vacation, not the Hells Angels looking for trouble. The lady in the office quickly moved us upstairs, was very accommodating and all other staff interaction was great. Ultimately we passed our original room the next morning and the floors were being repaired, so there ya go. Andrew made us uncomfortable from the moment we checked in, to the phone interaction and after checkout when we were loading up. He made a point to come out and compliment our bikes after being told we had heard what was said..it was weird. Think he might have been trying to be nice, but came across as awkward after everything. Cant stress enough how great everyone else was. Im sorry that some staff were put in awkward positions by Andrew's weird outbursts..the accommodation was fine overall. Won't be back. Also, no AC . Guess we should have paid more attention to the lsting.

The property was very old but had some improvements to the units. The parking is very poor to say the least. Limited spaces on the property and each space is very small. Main heavy traffic walking path is just outside the sliding glass door. The property is a $150 per night property easily compared to other hotels in the area. Any amount listed above that is the price you pay for being close to the beach area.

On the Promanod and short walk to the beach. Half a block top great breakfast at Osprey Cafe. Quiet away from the hug-bub but close enough to get to a;; of it. Great view top floor of the waves and you can hear them.

We had a lovely time at Seaside, and loving staying a little away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. This hotel was quiet, directly on the beach, and overall everything we were looking for. The staff was so friendly, the facilities clean, and the parking easy.

This property does not have air conditioning. This is a fact that they don’t mention.When we arrived our room was 80 degrees. They refused our request for a refund. We carried bags up 3 flights of stairs only to learn that our room was uninhabitable. We won’t be back.

We had a ground floor room facing the coast. Roomy. Contained all we needed. The Inn is at the southern end of the Seaside Promenade. We loved the peaceful location. Enjoyable walk to the noisier, active part of town. So glad we chose this spot.

Our room was clean, comfortable and included everything we needed for a three night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
