Inn at the Shore

Nice location, place needs some updating and maintenance work. Cleaning needs improvement including sand in door tracks, very hard to slide doors. Toilet wouldn’t flush unless handle held down for duration. Very loud neighbors/thin walls. Exterior maintenance, paint, etc. needs a refresh.

Nice clean quiet property with easy access to the beach. A bit remote from shops/dining/services.

Cute, small place to stay. We thought we were getting a partial view but you had to put your cheek on the window to see the ocean, so I guess they weren’t wrong. Great access to the beach and we could walk to two restaurants. There is not an elevator for the second story.

Lovely beachside stay off Cannon Beach. Loved our balcony with beach view. Bed was comfty enough. Don’t think there was AC, so we slept with balcony door open and could hear the ocean. No elevator, so dragged suitcase upstairs.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Everything was new and incredibly clean.

Property was nice and clean! Staff was great! Stayed a few nights. Quite area to stay!

We liked the close proximity to the beach . The room very clean. Loved fireplace and patio. Quiet at night . Lots of noise early morning. Did not like having no elevator . Third floor and I am older. No warning of that. Ice also first floor. Coffee only in rooms . Would not choose place again.

Great location and friendly staff. We stayed 3 nights in July (Mon-Thurs) and drove several hours from Idaho to stay here. Our room was one the 2nd floor at the end. The actual property and staff does it's best for a clean, friendly stay. The kitchenette was a nice plus. Unfortunately the low end customers and paper thin walls were undesirable. Be prepared for people smoking outside, talking and their dogs barking and all the street noise with cars driving and doors slamming.You can hear the people talking in the next room and people walking above you sound like they are stomping around. The beds were saggy too. We had the partial ocean view, which was ok. However seeing another room with an actual ocean view made me feel even more disappointed in our room. If I could do it again, I would have found a hotel with thicker walls.

My room was nice; location great for walking to the beach. I loved my balcony with chairs to relax and look at the ocean. No A/C in the room, but there was a fan that helped. Unfortunately, there’s a pool at another hotel across the street. The people in the pool were very loud, kids screaming into the late evening. The rooms are near parking, so car doors slamming, people talking, noisy kids running everywhere up and down the stairs was a regular thing. It was very disturbing and woke me up several times.
