Inn at the Shore

Unfortunately our booked room type was no longer available when we arrived as we had to switch dates. So instead with a king size bed and a full size bed for us and our son (suite) we ended up in a room with two doubles, which was rather uncomfortable for the night. But I can imagine that the original room would have been great. The view was stunning and the staff very nice. For over $300 a night, they should offer at least continental breakfast, though - we found it expensive, especially for our smaller room.The hotel is in a great location to walk downtown. During the day, the town is fantastic, but when we arrived the first evening, we had a hard time to find an open rest around after 8 PM.

Great location! We walked on the promenade to dinner. A short walk to the beach. There are very well maintained bikes available to borrow.

The room is super cute. It’s spacious and smells like laundry soap when you walk in. The 2 queen room had a little kitchenette area which came complete with fridge, microwave, keurig and dishes. The lobby had games movies and books you could use. They also had bikes at no extra charge. It’s right in the beach and we came when there was a huge volleyball tournament so the rooms cost more but our section of the beach was not crowded. Only a 6 min bike ride to the shops and arcade. Would definitely stay here again!

The front office staff was very helpful. The view from our room was amazing! Third floor ocean view room. Local restaurants were perfect for a great meal and watching sports. Billy Mac’s was just a short walk down the street.

Not a good choice if sleep is important to you. Walls and ceiling so thin that you can hear everything. Clean room, great location, friendly staff but not worth it.

I was going to be petty and mark it lower because I was placed next to an infant that cried for over a hour at night and in the morning as well. Since, I never informed the staff, I didn’t think it was fair. I would definitely ask to have quieter placement next time. Bed was comfortable.

Paid extra for a balcony with an ocean view, got a ground floor with a view of the trail and blackberry bushes- couldn’t keep the curtains open at all since there was absolutely no privacy. The floor in the middle of the room was buckling up from obvious previous water damage. No A/C - hot and muggy. Hair dryer worked but didn’t actually blow air so not very effective. Mini fridge wasn’t balanced. Bed was comfortable, room was nicely decorated and spacious, linens were comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. Local cafe one block down (Osprey Cafe) was amazing. Main part of town (food/entertainment) is about 1 mile down the boardwalk, which worked well for us - just be prepared to do a lot of walking
