Place2stay in Ghent

Very clean and well equipped, it was perfect for three of us! Lovely shower and good beds, we enjoyed our stay!

Wonderfull well maintained appartments. All high quality materials. Bit warm during hot summer days but a fan was supplied to ease the pain.

Absolutely perfect place to stay for a trip to Ghent! Great accommodation for the quality, price and location. It's not like a hotel with a front desk or anything, but more like an apartment. You pay cash to the owner who is there every day tending to the apartments. She was very friendly, flexible, and helpful. I highly recommend Place2Stay!

Location is great. Studio appartment was an adequate size, bright, clean and attractively furnished/decorated in a simple modern style. There is no staff on the premises and no housekeeping. Our appartment was on the street side - there was quite a bit of street noise, more during the day than at night. The only real negative to our stay was on the electronic communication front. The WIFI was sometimes okay, sometimes not - a provider problem? Again a provider problem? We had TV service when we checked in but none the next. We called the property manager who had it fixed remotely the day after. It worked for the rest of that day, but was gone again the day after.

Great place to stay loads to see way and drink lovely friendly people.

This is a decent place and I have been there before. There may not be anyone there when you check in. They open the door remotely and your room is open. There is some noise at street level and sometimes from other guests. Only downside is there is no proper chair and table. Just stools and a bar. The sofa is nice but not much use if you want to work. There is a risk of outsiders getting into the building. So watch your stuff.

Studio flat in a great location - quiet but within easy walking distance from city centre attractions. Dampoort railway station an easy 15 min walk (trains to Gent-St Peter leave roughly every 20 mins for connection to Brussels). The owner wasn't there when we arrived but was able to buzz us into the building via intercom, and our room had been left unlocked for us, so gaining access was all pretty straightforward. It was also handy to be able to leave luggage for a couple of hours after checking out.

A good place to stay in the old part of Gent. Underground parking very close.

1 night stopover in Ghent - excellent for short or longer stays.

This is a renovated building with well-equipped apartments. In general this is a good place. Almost no traffic noise but there was noise inside the building from some kind of central heating or other equipment. The cleaner did not come into my apartment while I was there. I met the owner at the end of my stay. I did not see any staff at all until the moment I left.
