Red Roof Inn Allentown South

I only had coffee both mornings. The room exceeded my expectations in every way.

It is a little off the beaten path and a little hard to locate.

Clean and quiet

Location was great for the event we were attending!

The staff is hard to understand but the one lady was very unprofessional. When we checked in our room of 3 people, we were given one key card. I happen to go to a nearby park and had the key card so my son and his friend couldn’t get in the room so she did kindly give him 2 key cards but in the process canceled out the key card I had so when I returned and the kids were already gone, I couldn’t get in the room. When I went to the office to let them know, she was pissed at my son and tried to make it seem like it was his fault. Another customer happened to be standing there and asked what happened so I was explaining the situation to her and another staff person got my key card activated so they could get me out of the office. We were booked for 5 nights and they gave new towels every morning and emptied the garage as well until the last night so I’m guessing housekeeping does not work on Saturday! The office lady we struggled with also gave friends of ours a hard time with their booking as well. Not staying here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Loud footsteps from room above during the night.

Affordable and convenient if you don’t care about extra frills staying at a hotel and just need a place to stay if visiting the area. Clean amenities and courteous staff

The stay was done somewhat better than I expected but sheets and blankets were dirty as there were brown spots on them

Quiet and comfortable

The Red Roof Inn South between Emmaus and Allentown has improved dramatically recently. I was apprehensive about staying here for six nights when I read the older reviews. But now I am convinced that those reviews were from guests under the previous management. The new manager has seen to it that the rooms are very clean, guests requests are attended to promptly, there is plenty of parking right near the front door, and there is unlimited coffee available in the lobby. Any guest or prospective guest will be quite pleased if they choose this motel. I certainly was!
