I stayed at the Hotel De Bentlyl during a work visit to Abuja. I had originally intended to stay at another well know establishment and had my reservations about Hotel De Bently. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. I was offered a welcome drink and my check-in went smoothly. My room was modern and the amenities were of a good, modern standard. There are three bars situated on the premises and i had a drink at the amazing pool bar. The restaurant was excellent and i recommend the chicken wings.

"Exceptional"

People at the hotel is very friendly and courteous. Restaurant has a good variety of food, and room service is excellent. We planned our stay for 3 days, end up staying 3 weeks. I will definetly recommed this hotel.

"OK-ish hotel in Abuja, Nigeria"

Abuja, Nigeria has a dearth of affordable, decent hotels for the business travel. The Hilton is hyper-expensive, the Sheraton is a shamefully overpriced dump, hotels like the Rockview is affordable, but a horrible place to stay with food unsuitable for the Western palate. I have found the Hotel de Bently to be the "least bad" of the options available in Abuja. On the positive side, it is reasonably priced by Abuja standards, rooms are clean and not run-down yet, staff were friendly and professional. The free Internet speed was not stellar and was down occasionally, but generally faster than expected from other reviewers reviews, On the down side, the restaurant has a great menu, but most of the items are always "out of stock". The breakfast buffet does not cater for the Western palate. The aircons are noisy, and barely adequate for the tropical heat, and if you like to gym, there are cycles and treadmills, but all of those are either not working at all, or only partially working.

"Super duper Hotel"

Nice hotel in ok location. The hotel staffs were great and the food (Buffet option less than $4) was delicious too.Gym and pool are clean. Car service is on site, professional and clean. At least for the standard of the hotel, it is the best. I will definitely recommend the hotel.

"A pleasant place to stay"

The buffet breakfast and dinner was delicious. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff welcoming and pleasant. Very close to the local market but a short drive away from the main shopping area/social life, etc. On the downside, no public transport in the area around after midnight. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay.
