Hotel De Bently

The service was pretty good but could have been better. I booked a room for 2 Adults when I received my itinerary it stated free parking and free buffet breakfast. When we went to have breakfast we were told the buffet breakfast was for only one person in the room we paid extra to eat breakfast. The itinerary was not worded as such and was misleading. The staff got an attitude when we asked to have our food wrapped up so we could bring it to our rooms. They would look over your shoulders whenever you went to the buffet. This happen anytime during the day breakfast, lunch or dinner. They preferred their staff to bring it so they could charge an additional fee. Every time they brought food to room they expected to get naira's. They also inspected food we brought back to the hotel. The room had a damp odor and they only brought us one towel and one washcloth. We had to request they leave two towels and two washcloths otherwise we would end up using one towel and washcloth for the both of us. When taking a shower the water would be all over the floor. We also had to keep going to the lobby to have our room key reactivated. The staff was not very professional and friendly. I will not stay at this hotel on my next visit to Nigeria, Abuja. I will be sure to stay at a hotel who go out of their way for their customers to make sure they are happy at all times.

The place is clean and secured. I found the location ok, not too far/not too close to markets, supermarkets etc... So not noisy and too quiet (I personally don't prefer silent places). Staff is nice -not too bad, however, I found the night front desk staff a bit slow... Also I expected a bigger bathroom. But I had a good time being there, it is a good place.

The Hotel Bently is exquisite architecturally and in terms of decor both in rooms and public areas-all representing this area of Africa. The staff is friendly, charming and efficient; the manager very helpful in suggesting things to do in Abuja. Excellent open roof top sit out bar and restaurant delicious. Great location- safe and easy to get everywhere. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Let me first start by saying we really enjoyed our time here on our previous stay,and again this time.Thanks also to the staff for my request for the same room as last time and them delivering that.Noticable improvements have been made especially with the food.We found this time there was much more choice,more fresh cooking and the food was hot ! Reception has had a facelift and is much fresher and noticably cleaner. .Management more visible but no cause to complain so just said Hi.You will really enjoy your stay here if its peace and relaxation you want.

The hotel was nice but the staff was not the friendliest nor did they want to help much.

The room was big and bed excelent. The aircon was working but very noicy and not possible to sleep with it on. A bit expensive compared to the standard. Very friendly staff.

It's said that people make all the difference - from good to great. Mr. Agbor and team - Ms. Chinyere, Mr. Danladi - You guys made me have the best times ever. The dining was superb, Hotel was extra clean. The ambiance was amazing. I will be coming back in two months time and I will definitely stay at Hotel De Bently.

I have stayed at Hotel De Bently twice and soon to be my third as I am going there in March. Both times I have really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very pretty with large clean bedrooms. The swimming pool is beautiful and has a lounge by the pool side. I would recommend this Hotel any day any time.
