La struttura è completamente immersa nella giungla. Noi avevamo la camera con piscina privata e nonostante abbia piovuto l’atmosfera era davvero bella. Ci sono molti servizi aggiuntivi a Pagamento come classi di yoga, massaggi, tour e gite nei dintorni.

We were met at checkin by the friendliest, most welcoming staff who helped us get our bags down to our room and throughout our stay, i can't say enough good things about the people who work at Alam Ubud. They were exceptional!

I might not have stayed here if i had realised that we would be walking up and down the equivalent of 8 flights of stairs to get to the restaurant or to get out to see someplace. I had no idea it was going to be so far and since I have severe osteoarthritis, that was a huge deal! If anyone in a similar situation considers booking here - book villa 1 or 2 - no others!

i didn’t take seriously comments about stairs and it was a big mistake! you really have to be prepared to have sore legs after… every time you go to lobby, restaurant or pool you will need to go up A LOT OF STAIRS (the amount depends on the villa you have) this hotel is incredible for people who want to connect with nature, find solitude or explore northern Ubud area. all the time you will be surrounded by jungles🌴but it is not a great place if you work remotely (especially in IT)! you will always find activity for yourself here - cooking and dancing classes, cycling, yoga (free every tuesday morning) and much more! also you can explore nearby area - elephants, waterfalls and nice restaurants; i recommend going to Toya Ubud (just 10 minutes away) and try pizza in Bella Puzza Ubud. other than that for additional price you can get floating breakfast/lunch/tea time, which is very nice! as for the restaurant, prices are okay and the food is not bad as well. breakfast costs 150k per person and for this price you get fruit, juice, and one dish of your choice (vegetarian, american, european and indonesian dishes). coffee, tea and water are unlimited during breakfast. also you can order Grab here, just be ready to wait longer (40+ min) overall we liked our stay here💞stuff is very nice and welcoming, people are friendly! and if some of you are afraid of insects, bugs and animals like i am - don’t be too afraid, we only saw and heard geckos, but nothing scary

here are all the disadvantages we found: -bed canopy/mosquito net over the bed and bed sheets felt not clean enough -sockets didn’t work properly, most of the time we couldn’t charge our phones -wifi was working on our phones, but if you have to work online from your laptop be ready to use hotspot from the phone. speed test showed 5-10 mbps, so be prepared for that -balcony door doesn’t close fully -for some reason bathroom door is transparent (for us it was not a big problem as it is far from the bed, but maybe for some it is important) -stairs (sorry, i am not sporty haha)

We stayed in the Astina 2 villa at Alum Ubud Culture Residences and Villas and loved every minute. The food was outstanding and a real highlight of our stay, easily some of the best we’ve had while travelling. They cater fully for vegetarians, and every dish felt special and memorable. The price is exceptional for the quality and setting. The location is stunning. Set amongst forest at the top of a valley, it’s wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Yet it’s only a short drive from Ubud centre, making it easy to explore or join tours. What really stood out was the team. Everyone we met was warm, friendly and genuinely kind. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. If you want to relax and step away from the bustle of everyday life while staying close enough to dip into Ubud when you wish, this place is ideal. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

This place is UNREAL! We stayed in a private villa with a private infinity pool overlooking the stunning forest and it was so private and secluded. A perfect spot to relax in the afternoon heat listening to the sounds of the river and the animals in the trees. The villa is HUGE! A large open room with the bed and multiple seating areas, an oversized bathroom with shower and bath (YES the window has a blind so you can use the toilet in private), a large balcony overlooking the private pool. Outside there is a large upper terrace (also over looking the private pool) with a seating and dining area and then private pool which is much bigger than it appears in photos with multiple seating and lounging options! The staff here are so attentive and welcoming. From the moment we checked in they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect and it was. I also need to mention the food as I didn’t really see this advertised much but it was a welcomed surprise! We were planning on visiting Ubud centre to eat out there but the food here was so good we had dinner here every night, poolside overlooking the forest! As vegetarians it was so nice to see such a varied menu and everything was incredible! The resort is also huge. There are around 20 villas in total but each secluded so they don’t overlook one an another but all seemingly have breathtaking views over the forest. There are also 2 main pools, one next to the restaurant (featured in most of the photos) and a smaller one right at the bottom close to the river where there is also a spa! This place is remote. So anyone wanting to be in the action of the centre will need to allow for at least 20 minutes by car to get there from here. This is an authentic forest stay experience like no other! Highly recommend!

I totally recommend this villa. It was such a nice experience to stay in the jungle. The food was amazing. We tried almost everything from their menu and we also ate in Ubud centro but the best food was in our villa. After 4 days we went to Nusa Dua but we still think about our villa from Ubud. We miss it already. The pool and the view was incredible. I highly recommend this place. The staff from this villa was the best. They were so kind with everybody. They deserve a raise🥹 I reaslise that I’ve lost my neckace after leaving this place and the staff wrote me that they found it close to our villa. I cannot believe how kind these people are. Thank you for everything!

Wir hatten eine suit mit Pool. Es sah alles super schön und sauber aus. Auch das Bett war wirklich bequem. Außerdem war das Personal mehr als zuvorkommend. Super höflich und hat für uns alles möglich gemacht.

Die Kissen waren mit persönlich zu hoch (luxusprobleme) und in der suit gab es nur eine xxl Decke. Wir sind es nicht gewohnt so zu schlafen und haben jeder an der Decke gerissen. Zwei Decken wären persönlich schöner gewesen.

Such an incredible place. The staff were extremely accommodating and kind. The room/villa was very spacious and absolutely gorgeous with a balcony view of the river and jungle. The infinity pool was beautiful and the spa facilities were amazing. Would absolutely recommend!
