The Samaya Ubud

I booked 3days hill villa, the house with a private swimming pool. I love this hotel by the only reason is beautiful!!!

The floor in bathroom is a little bit slippery.

Food at the restaurant was good.

Staff at reception were money focussed and also quite deceptive in diverting money to the hotel (for example, asking for a taxi to town turned into them booking a very expensive private car and taking commission for doing that)

Loved this place and wished we’d stayed longer. Staff were fabulous and happy to help with anything you needed. 100% recommend the spa which was amazing. Felt so relaxed after our treatment! Stayed in a hill side villa which was gorgeous and very private. Bathroom was stunning, and the complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch (would switch the ketchup offering for strawberry Jam though). Breakfast was tasty and had in our villa. It was my partner’s birthday and they made him a lovely little cake and made up a flower bath which was very generous of them. I also got a lovely little tote bag on leaving which I already adore. Would definitely recommend if in Ubud as it’s such a stunning place with wonderful staff.

Would have liked a full length mirror but a minor issue.

The property had excellent customer service. They provided us with transportation, in room, and even celebrated my mother’s birthday with a cake!!! They were incredibly helpful and always ready to help us in any way. The villas were spacious and awesome especially the private pool! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Ubud.

Everything was to our liking and there is nothing to not like about this breathtaking place!

The peace and tranquility of the resort

amazing hospitality . attention to detail. The river thru the resort was worth mentioning as well. will visit again

Breakfast option could improve
