Luna Apartments

Truly enjoyed this apartment right in the heart of downtown Reykjavík. Close to everything (2 min walk)!

Nice space with easy walking to central shops and restaurants. Second sleeping area is a loft which is reached by a ladder. Quite cozy but very inconvenient as you have no place to store your belongings and getting to the bathroom is problematic.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a central base for their Iceland adventure. It is clean, roomy, well spec’d and is in a superb location. The only drawback is that it only sleeps 4 and we booked for 5. Remember his when booking! Unfortunately our youngest had to sleep with us. There was a sofa but it was not a bed and there was no additional bedding anyway. This aside everything else was absolutely excellent and in no way ruined our holiday. It could and would be a huge issue for those who are older and expected 5 beds! Highly recommend but for 4 not 5.

Loved this quiet, modern apartment in the perfect location in central Reykjavík. We had the penthouse which had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Parking in the street outside was free. Fantastic bakery round the corner and a supermarket two mins walk away was ideal. Our only gripe was that the huge fridge in the apartment did not have a freezer compartment so we ended up having to buy ice in Iceland! Appreciated the dishwasher and the fact that dishwasher tablets were provided. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at a nice apartment on a quiet street just a short walk away from the main street. We were only there for a one night stopover but would have liked to stay longer. Checking in and getting the key was a breeze with the email we received, the only issue we had was checking out, where the key drop location was not clearly defined.

Clean and warm apartments, comfy bed and great shower. Some of the furnishings were a little dated in the 1 bedroom apartment we had but the location was good. Small supermarket just around the corner and ample parking nearby, charges during the day but free after 6pm. great base in Retkjavik for a few days to explore

We had a wonderful trip to Iceland and stayed at 7 different places during our visit and this was by far the worst experience. Upon arrival we found that there was no parking next to our apartment (not even a place to unload our stuff). We found street parking about 1 KM away after going in circles for a while. We managed to get our stuff to the apartment. The apartment was clean but very poorly lit. The floorboard creaked and there was a lot of noise from adjoining units. The worst was a nail sticking out of floor in the bedroom and it hurt a family member (see the pic.) The company manages a LOT of apartments in the area under this business name so there is no telling what kind of apartment would you get. Please review very carefully if you choose to go with them.

While the location is good, the room looked worn and definitely didn't meet our expectations. I had to email the hotel 4 time in advance to get answers to a couple questions. The front desk is at another location so there's no on site support and the numbers posted in the room didn't work. Heater was on high the whole weekend and couldn't be adjusted. There were bugs in the bathroom and the place looked very worn in comparison to the photos. I would not suggest booking this hotel.

The location was very convenient. However, I was a little disappointed with how dated and small the apartment was. We also struggled to get in the front door when we arrived as did other people who arrived the same weekend. We had to telephone for a member of staff to come from their nearby office. He was very friendly and came quickly though.
