Central location was within walking distance of everything you would want to do in the city. Nearby grocery store was useful in keeping down overall cost of trip. Separate living, dining, and sleeping areas always a plus.
Apartment is small, online pictures made the apartment look spacious, but it is NOT. The bathroom is small and had sewer odor, not clean. Check-in was a hassle. Check-in location is very confusing. Owner/renter was NOT very helpful, unable/unwilling to provide clear check-in instructions. No parking, one must park on street and pay. Parking could be a hassle and costly. Be careful with extra person fee, it is hefty, and the foldable/portable bed was very bad. We rented this place for the beginning part of our trip, and we rent other apartment, few blocks away closer to the church ⛪, in the latter part of our trip. The cost per night was compatible between the two apartments yet the latter apartment was much much better than the Luna Apartment. We will NOT rent from Luna apartment again.
Our stay at Luna was very nice. Mainly we loved being able to walk to all shops and restaurants . Highly recommend Luna apartments to anyone who wants to be close in town. We had a rental car for day trips. One of our most favorite vacations. Thank you. Had everything we needed and more.
Apartment had a comfortable king size bed and full kitchen.
Our apartment turned out OK however, it was nothing like the photos. Once we figured out the correct location of our place we found it to be very quiet, yet really close to all the action. The parking was not included so if you go with a rental car, be prepared to move it often.

Apartment was in a great location, easy to walk to the main shops and restaurants. Parking was difficult to find on the street close by to the apartment and was parking metered. Apartment was lovely and warm, comfortable bed and everything was lovely however ours smelt of cat food/litter and the smell wasn't pleasant to be around.
PLUS: spacious enough for 3 adults CON: the bathroom is inside the bedroom. We had a hard time retrieving our emails so it was better to go to their office which was a few steps away from the apartment. CON: this is a personal preference - might be better to have brought our own sheets. What you see on the picture is what we got with different layout but the furniture are darker and older and made the place look smaller. *****PLUS: the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and eating - which saves us money for breakfast at least.The apartment is 5-7 min walk from the church where you can park for free and where tour pick-ups are. BONUS grocery store is a block behind the apartment. Also, just a few blocks away from all the shops and 20 min walk from the old harbor.

Such a cute apartment only a 3 minutes walk from the main road in Reykjavík! Clean and comfortable with a little loft. Check-in was easy and fast.
