Dar Echchaouen

Lovely hotel overlooking beautiful Chefchaouen.

We found the hotel to be as restful and charming as chefchaouen. The staff was attentive and informative both before we arrived and during our stay. The meals we had there were also amount some of the best we had in morocco.

I like this hotel and this city. It was special experience for me.

Needed somewhere to stay in the area. Finding the hotel is kind of a pain because we hadn't been there before, and the taxis are scam artists like everywhere in Morocco. Still, once we got to the hotel, they welcomed us and showed us to our room. They gave us info about the town and gave us a good walking route on a map for efficient sight seeing since our time was limited. Bed was nice, sink/shower had hot water.

Very attractive hotel. nice people. We also ate there and the price was reasonable and the food good.

We had a fantastic stay at Dar Echchaouen. The staff was very helpful and arranged a guide to take us hiking. They also gave us suggestions on where to go for food and shopping although I think the hotel at the hotel was some of the best in the city. The only suggestion would be to add WiFi in the rooms instead of just the lobby. Definitely would go back here!

Hotel is a nice secluded property and a short walk (7-10 minutes) to the Medina. We had a suite which was perfect for my wife ande I, plus our older daughter. Pool was a nice plus and great views of the city. Staff was very helpful and we had a great breakfast, Would go back!

We were VERY surprise with the city, hotel and the hotel setting, garden, and surrounding area with great friendly staff.

it was very pleasant to stay there, staff were friendly and helpful. however there was no telephone in the room so to ask for anything we needed to go down to reception and our room was way up on the other side many steps, when we asked the staff said to call them from our mobiles if we needed to talk to them, not ideal just put a telephone in the bedroom. food was not great and not for the price they charge, you get much better quality in the town with half what you pay at the hotel. drinks in the small fridge in the room, they charged us for it in checkout but there was nothing indicating the prices or that fact that they are not free, nor they told us on check in, a bit naughty.

Great little hotel in a superbly decorated city of chefchaouen. Can't recommend enough of it and no complaints whatsoever. just book it with confidence, sit back and relax the wonderful little town of chefchaouen. Great rooms, staff and awesome breakfast! Highly highly recommend it
