ITThe hotel is very close to the city center and to the sea (5 min walk). The staff at the reception is really kind and friendly. The hotel is generally clean (my room has been cleaned every day, even if bathroom amenities were not replaced too frequently). Rooms are small and out-dated. Breakfasts offer a good selection of salty food, but sweet options are quite limited. Wi-Fi is not very fast (but this is a common issue in many other places in Montenegro).
DEMy wife and me stayed in Hotel Vila Lux for 9 days in May. The hotel is located directly on the main Adriatic road, a few minutes walking distance to the Old Town of Budva, but far enough away from the waterfront to get the music from the clubs there. Although being directly on the main road, windows deaden the sound (when closed) that you get not much of the noise from the streets. The Hotel offers parking space for free for a few cars. Rooms are rather small (some rooms with two single beds although double room was booked). Rooms were remarkable clean. There is no lift. Breakfast was served to the table (when only few guests were here) or served as buffet (when more guests were there). It was totally adequate. Personnel (speaks English very well) was always very friendly and helpful. The owner lives half of the year in Germany and half of the year in Budva. Overall, we were happy there (no luxury, small rooms but very friendly atmosphere).
We stayed here a night on a tour of Montenegro. We wanted to see Budvar. The hotel is close to the old town and all the shops and restaurants. So a good location. You can also park your car at the front. The receptionist was very nice and there is an old gramophone in the reception area which still works. The room was pretty basic and stark but functional. Breakfast was good.

USWe had a very uncomfortable stay as our mattress gave us backaches. The hotel is a small property and they have gone for maximum rooms. The bathroom is probably the smallest I have ever seen. You enter it and it ends right there. There should be more available options in that price range and much better.
The hotel is close to the old town and near the bus station and not too far from the beach. The room was big, clean and had all facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was filling.
Hotel is at a good location, easy to reach and close to the Budva beaches. Staff is very helpful and room was very clean with necessary amenities.
Location: ok, at about ten minutes walk from beach. Rooms: comfortable, with en suites. TV: ok. Wifi: bit weak in basement rooms. Breakfast: good. Overall a good base for a visit to Budva. In an ideal world it would be nearer the old town, but not too bad. If you visit Budva do make sure you pop along to Kotor (or better still stay there instead!).
Hotel placed just by "Jadranska Magistrala" (main Adriatic road). Not big noise from the street, nice room, private bathroom, working WIFI, served breakfast: basic but enough, private parking. The price for this - revelation!
Had an amazing stay. Great room with a nice view. Breakfast and wifi was fantastic. Can't beat the location.
