"Happy with final room offered and will stay again if in area."

7.0

Booked thinking we were getting a courtyard room but ended up in pub room. Moved to courtyard room the second night after requesting. Staff were very accommodating, will use this accommodation again when in area.

No where to leave key when left site early in the morning on the last day. Website needs updating to show which room option you will be booking, wether pub or courtyard....

"A very nice surprise. A clean, pleasant hotel with terrific food and lovely staff !"

Kayley, the Manageress, was terrific. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so helpful, attentive and nice. All credit to her.

No electric plug socket close to be - not really an issue, though.

"Passable but a little bit of basic TLC for £150 per night"

3.0

Close proximity to the festival we attended. Ample parking for hotel guests. Staff were friendly despite being super busy.

We booked the including breakfast option which was removed prior to our stay with no communication and no response when I reached out. We requested a double bed, which was accepted, but the room was set up with 2 singles. We were told someone would come and change it on the second day, but they didn’t. Shower head wasn’t working, we left so it could be fixed and returned to our room unlocked and open to a courtyard of guests and no one fixing it. The room wasn’t cleaned once during our 3 night stay although we were offered clean towels on the 3rd day of our stay. (Not ideal when not even a toilet brush is provided as a basic amenity) Room was mostly clean but carpets were filthy, shower drain blocked so it backed up with dirty water and other peoples hair. Room was insanely hotter than outside, but no net curtains/blinds/any kind of privacy screen meaning windows could be open as they open directly out to pub garden where people can see in.

Friendly staff. Plenty of free parking. Nice pub and courtyard. A nice alternative to budget chain hotels.

"Ideal for what was needed but breakfast was poor"

6.0

Location

£10 breakfast that wasn’t told was ‘continental’ and only being a choose of two cereals, toast and yogurt. Plus A CUP of tea.
