This was a stay in the quintessential Cotswold Inn. Ernesto who met me upon arrival was such a help - literally couldn't have done more - an amazing character.

Absolutely beautiful, staff brilliant, super dog friendly, will definitely stay again . Excellent location in the beautiful Cotswolds. Ate in the pup food was delicious.

Room was really comfortable, the cleanliness was excellent, we has room number 1 which had a shower which was a bit on the small side for the bigger individual.

The Falkland Arms was spotlessly. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the pub in the evening(great choices on the menu),and the food and service was superb! The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast in the morning was cooked to order and delicious.

El edificio, la habitación y el entorno son excepcionalmente bellos. Los desayunos son estupendos, con una variedad de menú servido en la mesa, y que incluye desayuno inglés completo así como varias modalidades de huevos, además del habitual buffet con cereales, fruta, tostadas etc. La comida también es buena, y el pub tiene una gran selección de cervezas y sidras.

El agua caliente de la ducha no funcionaba. Se lo advertimos a la chica que nos sirvió el desayuno, pero nadie lo arregló. Afortunadamente hacía mucho calor y lo que más apetecía eran duchas frías. El personal, con la excepción del señor portugués que nos atendío el último día (muchas gracias de nuevo por todo), es simplemente correcto. La habitación no está preparada para el calor, pero sí para el frío, con grandes radiadores que seguramente la convierten en un lugar maravilloso con un clima más inglés. Cuando estuvimos hacía calor y nos pusieron un horrible ventilador blanco para intentar paliarlo. Tuvimos las ventanas cerradas durante el día y abiertas durante la noche para sobrellevarlo. La cama no es muy grande, lo justo para dos personas, y las almohadas, aunque hay dos, son muy parecidas en tamaño y dureza. Hicimos una reserva para cenar, en la que elegimos mesa. Cuando fuimos a cenar nos ofrecieron otra mesa porque la nuestra se la habían dado a otros huéspedes. No nos importó demasiado, pero es un detalle que resta profesionalidad al sitio. El desayuno sería redondo si se ofreciera zumo natural.
