Lovely pub with lots of character. Friendly staff, excellent food and great range of beers.

The stairs to the rooms were steep - not a problem at all for us but worth bearing in mind. Part of the character of an old building.

A gem of a place to stay,very olde world,full of charm,the room was lovely and everything spotlessly clean,very comfortable bed and beautiful bed linen,all high quality, staff all welcoming and friendly, good food too,great choice for breakfast and in the evening if you wanted to dine,would certainly stay again.

The spiral staircase but this would not stop me from staying again.
