Perfect location, beautiful old pub and very helpful and friendly staff.

Everything about our stay was lovely. The place, the people and the food!! We will be back for sure!

There were a lot of dogs in the pub and that was tricky as I’m allergic to them

Beautiful setting. Great location. Would definitely recommend.

The only fault I could find was that the shower wasn’t very good. No power, more of a trickle. Difficult to wash your hair.

Quirky little rooms. Fabulous food

Charming 17th Century building in lovely village. Stairs to accommodation are narrow and winding so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues but we were informed prior to booking. Food was tasty and well presented. Well patronised by locals with an open fire inside the bar and nice beer garden behind (not used by us due to chilly weather). Highly recommend.

Breakfast was very good, Room 6 was quite good in terms of facilities. Surrounding area enjoyable for a walk

Access to Room 6 was rather challenging, especially carrying cases. Bathroom very small. Using the sink was difficult due to the glass shelf being too wide. Shower facility poor. Requested an evening meal but the only table available was in the bar which was far too noisy.

Great location and staff couldn’t do enough to please so had a lovely relaxing weekend
