"Just what I needed and very close to the Silk Mill where I attended a wedding celebration"

Access to room, comfortable, friendly, parking was appreciated although rather difficult to enter given the size of my car!

Atmosphere, clean and tidy. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff, especially Vicky .

Parking limited however Vicky gave us some local knowledge and some Patrons let us take their space which was excellent.

"Really enjoyable break."

Excellent location in centre of town . Breakfasts were first class as was the service and the staff extremely friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable.

Considering the age of the building the facilities were superb !

You had to open the bedroom door to open the wardrobe door because of the location and type of door opener.........strange but funny

"Disappointing, not what we expected."

The food in the hotel is very good, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was shoddy and in need of repair. Did not meet the standard of any of the photos on the website. The noise from the street was bad, deliveries happening at 10.30 pm, lots of motorbikes etc, and the hotel is prone to power cuts which set off the alarms. Woken by alarms going off at 4.40am, not restful at all.

"Motorcycle tour two nights stay."

The location, right in the heart of the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value meals. A good breakfast. Plenty of complimentary teas, coffees in room. A fan supplied in the room. Comfortable bed. Windows that open.

Cracking my head twice on the low doorways (yes there are warning signs). Arriving at the hotel's underground parking area to find it gated and locked with a chalkboard stating that the car park was full and to find alternative parking elsewhere. Luckily for my two nights stay my motorcycle was not stolen from the public car park.
