The landlady was pleasant and helpful and the evening meal was excellent. The pub itself was in a lovely location and had retained its original coaching house ambience.

The airbnb was very disappointing. The boutique description was entirely inaccurate. There was no breakfast as no one lives at the pub. We were told that in the event of a fire ring 999 and wait in the car park. How does that work for health and safety? The room itself was a converted stable with a short staircase from ground level. Really small with just enough space for the bed. Two coat hangers on hooks for clothes and a shelf for hairbrush etc. No other furniture. The tv used broadband and often froze. The ensuite was small, though adequate, apart from the shaving mirror which mostly extended across the light over the basin. The only daylight was a tiny skylight in the sloping roof with no blind which meant a nightime view of the night sky or daylight at 4am. We only stayed for the first night of our booking.

It was in a good location in centre of the village. The bed was comfy.

Lots of info was left in the room about food and drink but no wifi code. The bathroom looked smart but it smelt of damp. The bulb in one reading light by the bed had been removed and not replaced.

It took at age to check in and get my key. The one person behind that bar was serving the customers buying drinks, said he was busy and so I had to wait

The accommodation was as described Modern and clean. However the management could do with sleeping there. It was very cold. The shower was a nightmare The kettle didn't work The wash basin had a glass shelf above it which made it impossible to wash your face etc Sadly we will not be staying there again

Shower was bad - hard to even make yourself wet it was so weak and the shower looked a little battered (although rest of the bathroom was very nice /newer)

Room was dirty,toilet wasn't cleaned, shower was broken fell apart first day, kept running hot and cold ,carpet dirty, never refreshed beverages the second day, food was expensive and poor quality ,my family in the other rooms had the same experience, very very disappointed, nothing like the website photos.

Lovely staff. Great restaurant with super food.

Room and bed a bit small. No furniture to put anything on. No hairdryer!
