The Plume of Feathers

The pub was excellent - good old fashioned English pub. Food was good (though the menu was a little limited). Breakfast was good too.

The room was too small, the smell from the air freshners was so overpowering that we had to put them outside. The matress was uncorfortable - one side was hard and the other had ridges in it.

Very clean quiet even with the planes flying over head unfortunately was unwell during stay staff were brilliant very helpful nothing was to much trouble was asked if they could do anything checked on us to see if we needed anything

Close to the Church The lady at the Bar supplied us with reheated roast potatoes to go with our drinks which was very much appreciated as hot food was no longer available and we were hungry!

The room was small and airless …. only a skylight window which was very difficult to open and the fan in the bathroom was incredibly loud!

The ambience of the location and the pub. There was a lot of history and the village was very picturesque. The location was ideal for our requirements. The breakfast was excellent.

It would have been nice to have a bath in the room.
