Lovely friendly owners and staff. Great little stable conversion at rear. Converted into a great little room with ensuite. Very reasonably priced. Great value

"A good stay"

A good stay as was attending a local music gig and all I needed was a bed for the night. An excellent good value and sized full english breakfast.

Rooms are a very compact, being a converted outbuilding with thin walls but thankfully all staying guests were quite quiet so didn't need to the provide ear plugs!

"I had a warm welcome on arrival, the room & WIFI were great and it was a good location for me."

On arrival I was made very welcome by the owners who were there to check me in, I was given all the information on meal time and everything else for my stay, I was shown to my room, handed the key and reminded if their is anything I need just let them know. The room was great and the bed was perfect, all the amenities where in the room, I was only there for the one night for work and the location was perfect for that. Many thanks to the owners for a great stay and I will be looking at staying here again.

"We did not stay because we considered the room not fit to sleep in for the reasons mentioned above."

We did not stay at the Plume of Feathers, the accommodation was not satisfactory. It was cold, cheerless with no comfortable features. The bed linen was clean but felt damp and needed airing. The room itself was up some stairs in an outbuilding.

As explained, we liked nothing about the place, it was not at all what we expected from Booking.com accommodation.We explained to the person on site that it wasn't what we wanted and that we felt we shouldn't have to pay for it. He understood and advised us to inform Booking.com. My wife tried to contact Customer Services via a pro former that she down loaded from your site, but has not had a reply so we assume it hasn't reached you. I have attached a screenshot of the email she sent you at 19:40hrs, Tuesday 29 October
