Ballyrobin Hotel

Chambre très grande, literie confortable, douche très bien. Proximité aéroport (possibilité d'y aller à pied de jour mais sans valises à tirer, on longe la route) Très bon petit-déjeuner

Very nice clean room, large comfortable bed, the room was warm.

I had booked the hotel as I had an early morning flight. .When I rang and spoke with a staff member I was told taxis were not a problem for getting to the airport early, and they had plenty of numbers. I did explain the times. When I arrived however the gentleman at reception informed me it can be difficult to get a taxi and I would need to ring ASAP to make sure I secure one. I eventually got one but much later than the time I wanted but had to go with it. Had I known this I could have requested some numbers the day before and pre-booked taxi.

This is a charming and delightful small hotel, the staff without exception were all excellent, considerate and attentive. I would have no problem recommending this hotel and will happily book it again without hesitation.

I had a very difficult time getting a taxi to the airport and the staff was told not to assist. This was very stressful. I chose this hotel because I thought it would be easy to get to the airport. I would not choose it again because of the transportation difficulty

Our room was great, and the breakfast was lovely. The location of the hotel was ideal for what we were there for so overall the whole part was happy with our stay.

Our friends had a flood issue in there bathroom causing a slip and a neck injury but that has now been dealt with by the hotel after we had left.

There was a lack of knowledge/support regarding transfer to the car hire place from both the evening and morning staff. Though it transpired that our car rental company (Drivalia) provided regular transfers from the hotel and should be well known by the staff which was frustrating. The room itself was very clean/tidy for a one night stay but they could do with more food options for guests that arrive after 9pm.
